Atlantic Salmon Fishing in Stjørdalselva // August

This was a brief summary of the last month of the 2023 salmon season. I was back in my home river, Stjørdalselva, and started the month as a guide at Camp Villaks together with Nils Oscar and Martin.
Camp Villaks is an incredibly important and valuable opportunity for youth, creating a low threshold for trying and getting started with salmon fishing. It's incredibly enjoyable to see young people thriving by the riverbank, and it's crucial for the future that young anglers are recruited.
There will be Camp Villaks in Stjørdal in 2024 as well!
The last week in August, I was fortunate to fish at Hembre Gård. What an adventure it is to fish there! Amazing fishing spots, combined with plenty of fish, are incredibly exciting.
Now, the gear is being prepared for a new season, and I already have plans ready for this year's season!
Next year, you'll see the opening days from Nordland - Vefsna and Fusta, as well as various rivers in Trøndelag + some secret rivers.
