Something to keep in mind with Ulta salons is the hairdressers are forbidden to tell you the hair color formula they have used on your own head for touch ups. So if you need to use a different salon or travel-- you’re out of luck.

Not true! I’m a hairstylist at Ulta in Tennessee and have some clients that come from California when they are in town and I have given their hairstylist in California my formulations before!

You need an appointment but I would call first before going to see if they are super busy sometimes some stylist are available since some people cancel that day of
