I honestly don't care about the language, I only care if they do a good job or not, even if it is not exactly like the original, being english, spanish, french, etc. I really like to appreciate other dubs sometimes, even though I wish they made a better job
But I don't feel it ok to demonize other languages by the sole fact they are not "japanese". It's ok to have preferences but I don't see it ok to shit on others just because they are not your preference.Well, that's all I needed to say
I’m totally on board with this! I agree that it shouldn’t matter regarding the language. The whole point of this video was to shine a spot light on the English dub for this specific anime and why I like it. Overall I just found it to be super entertaining and funny and well done overall. I know that English dubs can get hated on a lot with anime so I love to shine light on why it doesn’t deserve that hate. ❤️🙏

I like how Austin went from voicing a character like Kaneki, a sweet, kind and noble kid. To voicing a tough, loud and outrageous kid like Sakura lol the man has talent!!!

I watched this subbed but recently I’ve been watching more dubbed anime. Which I hadn’t really done since I started really getting into anime 12 years ago. Speaking of which Sakura’s dub sounds like kyo.
I also have been watching a lot more dubbed and I feel like it's because the dubs are doing a better job of getting the vibe. I speak a little bit of Japanese and there was very often I would catch a nuance that got lost if you do a more literal thing. I'm also enjoying more slang, it makes the character sound more natural like how Ume said let's go get some grub instead of let's go get food or something. It's a small difference but things they make them better! And more memorable. There's a reason so many people enjoyed the dub for Yu Yu Hakusho and it's because Yusuke actually sounded like a teenager! (And he was one.. and was that eng VA was the director. No wonder the vocab was natural lmao)

Considering watching this show! How do people like it? What do you like about it? What kind of a show is it?
It’s actually very good and was very well received by others as well. In fact I was hooked from the first episode. The main character, Sakura, grew up being outcasted due to his looks since he was born with two colors of hair and heterochromia (one eye dark blue and the other yellow). He then moved to a new town hoping his looks won’t matter there, and he ends up finding good friends and people he can finally open up to, while joining them to help beat gangs and keep the town safe. There’s a lot of action and fighting but I think it’s really well done. Highly recommend it. The main character, Sakura, is very likable and someone you really want to care and root for.

I believe you are mistaken. This is not the wind breaker Manhua. This is an anime adaptation of the manga wind breaker by Satoru Nii. I highly recommend it if you are interested though.
