Noah throughout this year has been very consistent in every thing he does. 4x100m, 200m, 100m, 60m & even improvements in his 150m event. This level of consistency as well as his top placements at competitions make him very much a big contender for both the 100m & 200m in Paris.
Thompson, Seville, Tebogo, Simbine, Jacobs, Hughes and others are some of many looking to win big at the Olympics. Ultimately, it comes down to how the race is executed the best. If Noah can better every aspect of his race to a level like every before, he definitely has a chance of winning Gold in the 100m & 200m with potential PBs.
I also wanted to add that if Noah was to win 100m Olympic Gold, he would be the fifth man to successfully become 100m Olympic Champion directly after becoming World Champion the previous year.
Only Carl Lewis (83 & 84/87 & 88), Donovan Bailey (95 & 96), Maurice Green (99 & 00) and Usain Bolt (2015 & 2016) have accomplished this rare feat in the men's 100m.
@@TheWayWithKhuwayne he'll probs get the bronze in the 100. This is the OLYMPICS; now NO ONE is holding back. And honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a silver in the 200m. The previously-mentioned isn't impossible and people should be more realistic about it. Some people really be acting like he already won, forgetting how he stop his Anime and Yu-Gi-Yoh childish antics when he heard about what the jamaicans got up to at their national trials. Even he's nervous and and everyone else is putting pressure on him for the olympics, just like with Tokyo. And then there's the PTSD (reminder of how he cracked under pressure) in the back of his mind replaying too. Some people overhype an imperfect human being to his own detriment.
Carl Lewis in 88 doesn't count. They took away the gold from the real winner because he was doping even though 7 of the 8 men the finals were caught doping, including Carl Lewis
@@wesleyowens4089 Anyone who dopes and get stripped of their medal, the next best athlete gets that medal. Carl Lewis, despite what we know, has that gold medal so regardless of what you or I believe, it's a legit win for him until World Athletics do something different which I highly think will happen.
@@TheWayWithKhuwayneJohnson also won the 1987 world champs.
@@HamishGarland His title got stripped. Carl Lewis placed 2nd that year and was named champion after Ben's ban.
I think Noah is going to dominate the 200m but the 100m not so much. lol that’s really one of those races that could go either way since it’s so stacked and they’re all just a couple hundredths of a second away from each other. Looking forward to the big stage in Paris!
they are actually not. no one is close to Kishane. The silver and bronze is what they will be competing for.

he can train his start no ? bolt had dood start before
@@henikechi4423 noah’s best time ever is 9.83. how does 9.83 with all the training over the years. he had gotten the best training and peaked. it is almost physically impossible to go from 9.83 to 9.77 in 3 weeks. so unless Kishane runs his worst race ever, false starts or pulls a hamstring no one can beat him. Did you see him jog a 9.9? i repeat the race is for silver and bronze.

Curious to see what Tebogo does.
Where are all the Abby Steiner/Matt Boling headlines and people? LOL
Lol
They got tired lmao
TRP has finally moved on. Time for some new fixations.
Matt who 😆
They moved on because Steiner and Boiling are no longer part of the NCAA (don't miss those videos honestly)
Maybe one day people will realize it’s Hinchliffe and not hinch-c-liffe. Dude gets his name mispronounced by everyone 😂
Hello!! Hughs has been injured for a long time and Tebogo has lost his dear mother. Wait a year and we'll see!
didnt know about his mom...guess that explains a lot
Tebogo will be fine by Olympics he isn’t a man of excuses
Us men will sweep 100-400 for this Olympics. It won't even be that close.
@@zachphil3203the 100 is definitely going to be close. The 200 is as close to a lock as you can get though and the 400 seems very likely as well

3:27 damn Yohan was an absolute monster look at his PB compared to others. He really does need to hang it up though man, can't bare to see him come last in a field he would have destroyed prior to his injury.
Winning time-9.85 or faster, definitely with this field before the Olympics.
Noah Lyles grew so much
How? When his 100m PB hasn't changed in like 3 years🥴🤡

@@jhadebredenkamp97 🤡
@@jhadebredenkamp97”🥴🤡”🧑💻🤓🤓
@@jhadebredenkamp97 Running personal bests doesn’t necessarily mean he grew tho. It depends on the context. He could run a 9.75 personal best at a one off meet this season and lose 100m gold running 9.88. Does that therefore mean he grew since he ran a PB this season? What you need to ask yourself is, has he won when it mattered most? Because he damn sure did last season.
People are sleeping on Tebogo and Omanyala... Simbine is an unknown quantity Noah is focused... Hoping for the best
People aren't sleeping on tebogo they're way over hyping him
Simbine a man who raced against Bolt, Gatlin and De grasse in finals over the years is an unknown quantity? as we speak he finished 2nd behind lyles
@@keketsomega8358 well each year the athletes come out different... Thompson-herah isnt racing... Coleman didn't make US mens 100...thats my take on Simbine... Last year he was not so impactful... But Noah is doing great... I'm backing Noah to win Olympic 100 but he will have so many sleepers behind him I can't honestly say who takes silver/bronze. Kungfu Kenny, Kishane, Simbine, Oblique, Tebogo, Omanyala
This is gonna be the 100 I really hope
Zharnel couldn't run in the UK championships just over two weeks ago because of a hamstring injury. He got a discretionary place on the British Olympic team.
Zharnel can't be in top shape & he'll have to be really careful not to re-injure himself before Paris.
Lyles is ready and he's not going to fall to someone who hasn't won a race outside of his own nation let alone someone who's just gotten fast beginning roughly 2 years ago at 19/20 years old. People think fast times just automatically translate instantly, that's very very rarely true. I guess if anyone can do it, it has to be someone from the MVP Crack club like SAFP or Elaine did it before and even Bolt who was slightly above average 200m runner until 08'. Even Lyles who has the pedigree of all pedigrees had a couple of years where he looked like he was on then disappeared.
@@chuckdeuces911 Kishane has had this on him for years. we knew. we have been waiting. why do you think the world is so excited? this kid has been whispered about for years. his body just needed to hold up. he is a prodigy. i pray he stays healthy. the world will enjoy this one.
This is the same thing they said before Lyles one his first 100m, but fact is, 100m is not going to Lyles this time, there are faster hungry people out there
How do you edit your videos? They are very well made!!
Lyles's tail must be high and wagging on the constant improvements he has made in the 100m, the 200m is pretty much locked but nobody considered him a 100m star until the last year to 18 months at most id say, regardless of who wins or the time im just happy to witness it
3:27 "The average PB for this entire field is 9.84".
I don't mean to be a stickler but the average is 9.86 seconds, for the eight athletes.
I think for this DL meeting the winning time is at the fastest probably 9.85 but the Olympic Final the winner is definitely gonna have to be in that 9.70-9.79 range to pull off a victory
The weather conditions will ultimately decide the quality of the performance in London. We’re having pretty shit weather at the moment.
True that. Hopefully it'll be like last year (I went and saw it live), it was really good weather for sprinting!
I thought Hughes was injured.
Sooooo, in plain sight and less words ✨️black men dominate as the fastest in the world❣️
I don't think the times will be especially great because I feel like they'll be saving themselves for the Olympics
I wonder if Kishane Thompson gonna race against Lyles,Tebogo, Hughes, and Blake
Why not?

@@donnatrump1403 I'm not feeding off anything, I like both of them and would like to see Thompson win, Lyles not a chump either
@@EsperanziaWilliams Ok, your wish will come true.
I predict Lyles, Tebogo, Hughes in that order in the 100; winning time around 9.8. Here are some other stacked races to watch at diamond London:
Women's 400: Two of the three sub 49 sec runners this season (Pryce vs Kaczmerek)
Women's 800 - Keely Hodgkinson vs the clock (I'm hoping she will break 1:55)
Women's 200 - Gabby Thomas vs Julien Alfred

Noah all the way, he's figured out the 100m. Omanyala & the Jamaicans will be there if he doesn't bring his A game though.
Hughes has been injured so I would not expect much from him this close to the games. A run to ease himself into the pressure of doing the rounds at the Olympics makes sense but he won't make the top 3 this weekend in my opinion.
Just like last Olympics,a New person will win
Tebogo vs lyles ! That’s the real matchup, MR TRP !!!
So funny every year the crowds of people saying Omanyala is a threat 😂 you never learn.
He could be but I doubt it. He is at least a threat to get bronze imo but this Olympic field is pretty stacked
@wesleyowens4089 He only runs consistently fast in Kenya, and certainly never after running rounds.

Noah. Wins the 200 . comes out of the medals or at best 3rd in the 100 to much quicker guys in the 100 .

The Lyles vs Hughes conversation is far less compelling than the Lyles v Tebogo conversation!
Blake isn't Seville (not Siville).
I think these athletes will run around 8pm est
It would be a very good race, but given that Olympics is very close and this is a very competitive 100m not 200m will Noah really run 🤔

kishane thompson is the biggest threat (and probably the favorite) to Nojo
Surely the Jamaican, Oblique Seville, must also be in the 100m conversation. Simbine also looking good and consistent, but another South African, Benjamin Richardson, just ran a 9.86. Just to prove that this field is wide open and anything can happen on the day.
Exactly
Anybody that can pull a 9.8 can medal in the Olympics
The only wildcard at the moment is kishane Thompson

Idc about Lyles running bareley sub 10 videos and rolled ahh highs
When 8 800 dudes basically all run 1:41

Why are they running so close to the Olympics risking injury?
They run just as hard at practice. Over and over
Money! 😅
Because doing nothing, although it may reduce the risk of injury, is not the best way to peak.
To stay in shape. You don't want to rest too much before the Olympics or else you'll lose your peak
Do you think they sit on the couch till the Olympics
I wish I had never watched "Sprint". The Americans did not gain a fan with me. Non-stop attitude. Personally, I don't like that in an athlete.

But Fred, saville, jacobs (lol no that man looks like yohan blake after he came back from his injury) etc all have speed and a chip on their shoulder, The african contenders dont normally travel well but I have. feeling ferdinand and simbine are going to go very well, since this might be the last chance for them to seriously medal or hit gold.
200m he should take easily if he doesnt choke, wich I doubt he does but then he did get beat last olympics, but no one is really that close to him for it to be a worry unless its kenny's time.
Or maybe lyles just does his thing, hits a PB in the 100m, walks the 200, USA finally has a non dramatic relay and somehow gets into the 4/400 and wins the 4 golds to make history.
