For stenography, you need a split custom keyboard with switches that actuate when you touch the keys, not when you press down on them. Buying a pre-made stenotype is around $6000, making my own cost me just under $400. Gaming and normal typing is straight up impossible with that sort of switch for me, but steno works well with it.

Literally any keyboard will work, I got the 4 digit with a membrane and went to high 3 digit with a normal 50 dollar mechanical keyboard with red switches

Once your inputs are single digit milliseconds, the difference between 4 to 1 milliseconds is beyond negligible. Just get a nicer monitor and keyswitches that feel/sound nice. Not to mention most input lag is felt by internet connection. Which sometimes money can't even fix depending on where you live.
Connection latency is different from input lag. Input lag is from when you make an action in real life to when you see it on screen. Connection latency is from when the game registers it to when the server does so
games intentionally put input lag in as well to curve the gap between the best of the best and newbies, alot of pros complain about this and adjust to the fact input lag exist,

Objectively the best gaming switch. Not only because of the adjustable actuation, and response time, but also analog, dynamic key stroke, and rapid trigger. I say switch because the 60he is coming It also uses the lekker switch but has more custom potential.

The fortnite community needs to get it out of their head that low actuation means fast keyboard
