No one laughs at someone who can feel the same as we do with Nightwish.
We applaud it!
Well I do anyway, sure I'm not the only one.
Laughing at you ?? No way !! Smiling ? Yes !! Reactors like you (those who really appreciate and feel the songs and the performances) kind of make me live again what I can't live again when I see them discover and genuinely enjoy what they watch and hear for the first time... Thank you !!
- Argentina; Best crowd ever!!!
- Nightwish; Best live performance!!!
- Floor; Best front-women!!!
Nightwish+Floor= BEST MIX FOREVER AND EVER!!!
that crowd was definitely great!!
No laughing from me bro. I'm 61 years old and have seen this many many times. And tears every time. And I love it. Thanx, Peace.
Thanks man, ✌️✌️
Now you understand why Floor is our Qween.
She's everything with the rest of the band, of course.
One of the best composed songs I have ever heard. A hidden gem of Nightwish. Makes me emotional every time I hear it.
it definitely too me for a ride, but they tend to do that to me. Some sort of super power of theirs. ✌✌
Now you understand the fan sign at the Wacken concert.
"Thank You Tuomas
For ALL the Emotions"
Out of everything he writes. He always seems to find the right words to say. Never a missed word.
I am getting that
People will always refer to GLS, PATP and GSOE. But Dead Boys Poem is just as classic.
I have to agree, it really left me in a state after hearing it. ✌️✌️
Totally agree with that, it is sung with such powerful emotions.
The Goddess of Empathy. She gets you every time
@@CUTnPASTEreacts I'm reliably informed that Floor was unwell this night and some reactors have commented she struggled. The whole band sound perfect to me. The song is a masterpiece whether performed by the band with Floor or Tarja for that matter.
@@RonniePeterson The later songs from this show are not quite 100% Floor didn't seam to have the same power but still great, the way she/They performed earlier in the show I am blown away that they can last so long with so many songs in this set...that was song 10 out of 21 from memory. So if anyone was not 100% .... Just wow
Greatest show on earth don't belong in nw classic ....just
About all of that we witness in every masterpiece of Nightwish on stage, comes from
Tuomas´ head. Tuomas is a genius in poets too. We are so blessed, we live here at the
same time, and that there are so talented musician with Tuomas. It´s not only music
but those lyrics are so wide and deep, from personal feelings to universal thoughts.
As always I like your comments. Thanks stay safe.
Thanks, I appreciate that, and you stay safe as well
The song is to remind us to always tell those in our lives how much we care for them because we are not promised tomorrow.
absolutely, and I think thats why it got to me so hard. With everything going on and having children I don't regularly see, it just hit me hard.
@@CUTnPASTEreacts yes, I get that. Been in a similar place like you. The love in your heart will guide you. ✨💓

No one's laughing at you. We've also been there, confused and with tears in our eyes because of the damn onions.

Nothing wrong with the onions. It's those damned ninjas chopping them... 😎
@@darkiee69 I blame my kids and maybe the cats. All of them are obsessed at messing with me. They are possibly also possessed. Next time I tear up I'll try throw Bibles on them. I'm gonna watch Floors new cover now so I guess it'll be Bible time in a few minutes.
Sean, we understand the emotion. This song hits me right in the feels every time. It's one of my favorits.
Tuomas put a lot of personal emotions to this song. A sad song, but interesting and beautiful.
💯💯💯
@@CUTnPASTEreacts It's a little bit autobiographical too. About a misunderstood boy who's only way of expressing himself is thru music.
Nobody is laughing at you for your beautiful, emotional reaction to this AMAZING song !!! It gives me chills every time I hear it ! Wonderful ❤️ Reaction !
Finally you did this, one of Floor's finest vocals, plus six of the most talented musicians in music to date....Tuomas is a genius, music and lyrics are unmatched....
I'm glad I waited a bit on this one, I really got to me.
You need to listen to The Islander live at Tampere. Marco plays guitar and sings on his own. Awesome!
i would suggest to listen to both the live version at tampere and the official video.
@@twistedminds5862 yea, video first then Tampere, back to back. This is the way
This 20 year old song and updated, originally was already awesome, now really emotional!
Nightwish, a storyteller band ... Like watching a movie where the story takes you like a roller coaster!
How every musician does their best to get the story passed! Did you notice, after the guitar solo, Emppu was very serious this time. Didn't smile ... That song story ...
The little boy on the LED screen was Tuomas' alter ego. The position of Floor's arms at the beginning of the song was the same as that of the boy on the wall ...
The song was once Tuomas' will at the time, if he dies unexpectedly. What he hopes we will remember about him.
"If you read this line, remember not the hand that wrote it
Remember only the verse, songmaker's cry, the one without tears"
Tuomas has returned to this in very recent interviews. "Don't remember me, just remember my music."
So if I hear this song, tears are a sure thing to happen every time.
Thank God he has already made 9 Nightwish albums, one solo album and 2 Auri albums (the latter has not been released yet). But I still hope for many new Nightwish albums! When this latest one was released, Tuomas said enigmatically that he might make a trilogy. Two already released Floor albums and then a third on top of it. We will be anxiously waiting for a few years to see if this happens or not. Tuomas said it depends on his mood whether he makes it a trilogy.
We would never laugh about how you experience or feel the music, simply because we feel it too. This song is full of powerful words.
If only my heart had a home.
A loveletter to nobody.
Failed in becoming a god.
As a mother, the fact that this poem was spoken by a child, especially the last part, felt heartbreaking.
But nevertheless it is slowly becoming one of my favourites.
Also, the original version with Tarja, is gorgeous as well.
I appreciate that, the community has been super supportive in reality. Yeah my mind went immediately to my kids and I was done
Marko plays bass and is also a classically trained guitarist. This song is difficult to comprehend unless you know the message of the song. The vesrses are Tuomas' words and the Poem is Tuomas' inner child speaking. Here is what I have found about this song. Tuomas is The Dead Boy, and he uses this a a metaphor in many songs.
When asked what this song was about "Tuomas has said about this song, that it's about if he were to die tomorrow, what would he want to say to everyone that he loves, and that love him..."
Notice the small boy on the screen reaching out to the flying swans on the screen. The swan is the guide to the afterlife in Finnish mythology. He is reaching out to implore them to take him with to the other side. A beautiful song filled with sadness from an unfulfilled destiny.
The Poem
"If you read this line, remember not the hand that wrote it
Remember only the verse, songmaker's cry the one without tears
For I've given this its strength and it has become my only strength.
Comforting home, mother's lap, chance for immortality
where being wanted became a thrill I never knew
The sweet piano writing down my life"
"Teach me passion for I fear it's gone
Show me love, hold the lorn
So much more I wanted to give to the ones who love me
I'm sorry
Time will tell (this bitter farewell)
I live no more to shame nor me nor you
And you... I wish I didn't feel for you anymore..."
A lonely soul
An ocean soul
This is the song, where you think from the beginning.. "This is a good song", and a minute later, "wow this is a good song", and at half way through... loss of words. Best NW song that is rarely talked about.
Emppus face at the end of his solo.
What makes them great IS they dont just play their instruments great they all feel and live moods and feelings on songs they play.
We can only be so thankful they did this Decades tour 2018, otherwise we wouldn't have seen Nightwish since 2016 when the Endless Formes tour finished. And that they brought these songs to life with Floor, what a treat to all of us. We are not laughing at you, because you never know what Nightwish gives to you in the next song, tears or joy, because they are that good. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you, you too.
Due to personal losses, I always tear up when the poem says "I'm sorry"
Emppu has a teardrop on his face playing that solo, it's so humbling to see how much care he puts into it even though it's one of the simplest solos he plays... Muting all string at one point except the one ringing just to make sure it sounds perfect 💯🎶 powerful 🎸🙏
Haha! Even 'I want my tears back' is a happy-go-lucky sounding song, yet it has dark lyrics. Generally speaking this is what Tuomas tends to do: creating impressive melodies in combination with deep and more than once dark lyrics. He invites us to listen multiple times to the song and....we should be very happy about that.
This song just left me in such a strange mood, I needed something to kind of straighten me back up. I ended up checking a song from a different band and it straightened me right back up ✌️✌️
”Is Marko playing guitar now?” Yes, this group is gifted with THREE excellent guitarists (Troy also!).
I love this song it gets you in the feels everytime. Thankyou for this reaction it was great.
THanks, I appreciate that
Floor can silence an entire maternity ward, completely filled with crying and screaming babies, in seconds with her voice.
First, this Song is so sad and same time so beautiful. Second. Floor is so emotional, and her Performance (we dont must speak about her Voice ).only one Word..Awesome..great reation friend 👍😊
Marco vocals + guitar = The Islander live at Tampere
Both Troy and Marko are excellent guitar players. No, we're not laughing. We understand completely. It's what Nightwish does - they elicit emotions.
That they really do ✌️✌️
Yes, they have three guitar players: Emppu, Marco and Troy and three singers too. Floor, Marco and Troy.
I don't think anyone laughs at you. We only smile to the max. Yes, Nightwish songs play with an emotional roller coaster ride. And afterwards you can stay behind, confused.
thats literally how i felt after this one, just kind of left behind ✌️✌️
This song is about a young boy who is misunderstood. He never has had anyone close or anyone at all to talk to, so his music is what he lives for and is where he puts his feelings. His music gives him the push to keep on living and he puts everything into it. He tries to improve his life but whatever he does, he can never get back to the way he used to be. He says that people shouldn't ask for a better world because the world has already been made and been done.
In the talking part of the song, he is telling people not to remember him but to remember the music that was his life. He wants a mother's lap to sit on, he just wants to be loved. He cares about the world but he feels like he is just a waste of space because he has nothing and no one to love him he is just like an ocean - abused - and is just a very lonely boy and it is just his "bitter farewell."
I go on that ride every time I listen to Nightwish.
One of the most beautiful songs in their repertoire....underrated and somewhat overlooked, but powerful as hell! Gets me every time. 👍💖
ALWAYS when the boy says "... And you ... I wish I didn't feel for you anymore ..." I feel a hole in my stomach. It's like a testament, sad and disturbing.
Yup, that describes it pretty well.
I literally break every single time at that phrase. A beautiful beautiful song, but sooo emotional 😢 one of my favorite songs really, but it hits me way too hard.
it was especially tough for me to hear it, all I could think of was my Son who i don't live with saying that to me someday. Even though the contexts is different the image stays in my head
This rendition of this song is a masterpiece. The double neck is a Warwick Bass with a Framus guitar.
That thing is insane, I've never seen one before. ✌️✌️
@@CUTnPASTEreacts I believe it is unique unless Marko has a spare stashed away - it was custom-built by Warwick (who own Framus) for him. Despite being a hollow-body, it is pretty heavy.
I only know this due to Tank the Tech!
Every time....Goose bumps and tears in my eyes.
Floor singing Sleeping Sun would be another wonderful song for you to hear. That is my lullaby from them. :)
Great reaction, man!
Yes, Marco was playing guitar. Before he joined the band, Emppu was always credited as both, electric and acoustic guitars. But after Marco joined the band he basically did most of the acoustic ones. The double neck bass and guitar is a custom made for him I think, so he doesn't have so switch in the middle of the song and since Emppu doesn't play it anymore (at least during live concerts).
This song is taken from the Wishmaster album released in 2000, and at that point, this was described as the mother of all Nightwish's songs and the best of all time. Also this was written for Tarja at the time and was played in a different tuning. If you go and listen to the original, you'll notice that this one is tuned down a whole step (for those who play guitar, they used to play it in E and now in D). They did that a lot with the older songs and I don't know if it's to fit Floor's vocal better or what. Like for example, Romanticide (2004) it's still played as the original but only the last part was tuned down half a step. This concert in particular has many old songs played in a different tuning than the originals.
I actually don't live far away from where they played this at but sadly I wasn't able to go. Hopefully next time! And again, this was a great reaction!
Thanks for that, it's really cool that they have so many multi instrument members of the group. ✌️✌️
Tuomas write this emotianal song and it great but it is the way they perform it on stage that make is awesome. Floor got a gift to bring Tuomas his masterpieces to the next level and hit your emotions without you knowing why it hit you like it does. That is why Nightwish is special to so many people.
His heart has a home now. Ii's called Johanna.
❤
This is the best comment ever 🤗
Very well said. 🙂
A lovely woman, and a very talented musician and singer in her own right. If she makes another appearance on the next Nightwish album, I won't at all be upset.
Hi Sean,
Yes, Marco does play guitar too, and normally on a double-necked model, bass and normal guitar, the one you saw :).
There is no other band who can set a mood and spill out the emotions and get you to feel them like Nightwish can. It is the composition, the stage setting, the lyrics, the music, the singing, and the performance by each and every band member, all stars in their own right. I just love it, am mesmerized, amazed, touched, taken to another world each and every time. And each song and composition is different, although you can always recognize it as Nightwish. Truly amazing world class+ band! :)
Goosebumps, chills, wet eyes - I have always thought this was a sad song, for me anyway, even without listening to the words. It is amazing.
Yes, we expect your reaction, in a ceratain way, now we know you a little better :), but we are not laughing. Your reactions are always honest and personal, as I've mentioned before. That is why I really appreciate and love your reactions, they are just great!
Love, and warmest regards, Wim
P.S.: On a different note, Floor is releasing a new cover video this Saturday :).
Marko trained in classical guitar and music theory whilst at high school. (And Floor had a bad cold at the time.)
exactly he started playing with classical guitar.
Really Love your reactions... :) can’t wait to see and hear more :) cheers!
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that ✌️✌️
SO BEAUTIFULL
THANK💙 YOU 💗💗💗💗💗💗
I'm glad you like it
This song was Tuomas's way of saying goodbye to the people he loved incase he did not get the chance to. Marko's double guitar is called the Beast. Made by Warwick.
After Song of myself this is my next favourite song. Plus Emmpu's guitar solo.
This song was a bit too deep for me at that moment, I'll need to clear my head a bit and listen to it again.
And that Guitar/bass was sick!!!!
Apparently we have a similar taste as these two songs are very much up there, with me also. Only if asked which songs I enjoy most, as NW has too many outstanding ones and makes choosing one difficult, in the extreme.
I've said it before - I'll say it again: Your reactions are great! This song is historically one that forces you to sit with it, to reflect and to take it with you when you're done listening. "And you - I wish I didn't feel for you anymore." Cue little Me breaking and sobbing after I heard that lyric for the first time - realizing this translated something inside me... Even more so with Floor singing it. No one is laughing at you, my friend, we are just enjoying you enjoying them :) Thank you again!
One of my favorite Nightwish songs.
Great reaction. Keep on Nightwishing on. 🤘😜🤘
Oh, and nice shirt btw.
One of my favorites
Everytime this song does that to me, lump in my throat, watery eyes. No one's laughing at you. Like I mentioned with PATP, I am glad you're not digging into the backstory on forehand. That makes your reactions more genuine, more directly. A bit like I experienced my first hearings of the Nightwish songs. Again, man, go on this way, thanks!
The complexity and depth of their music is amazing. Your reactions and discussion was quite nice.
Marko studied classical guitar in high school. he's playing a Warwick/Framus double neck. Warwick bought the Framus brand, and the guitar is both an acoustic and electric. It has a piezo pick up in the bridge for the acoustic part, and two humbuckers if he wants to play electric.
"Remember not the hand that wrote it" is inspired by Shakespeare Sonnet 71.
Im so pleased to watch your reaction to this one!
Thank you, I appreciate that.

This is one of my favorite songs from them. You feel what you feel. I tear up every time. Good review. I had a bike ride today. 72 degrees today.
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback ✌️✌️
I was laughing. 🤣😂 But not in a bad way, ofcourse. Great reaction again. I love this song, and i would love a poster of the background (wishmaster cover) with the lyrics of the poem on it. Guess i’m not in the right place to get one. Now you can laugh at me.
No laughing from my end, I just felt I needed to make the mood a bit lighter, at least for my self ✌️✌️
That guitar is specially made to Marco´s hands as he liked it to be done.
That's awesome
That's correct, it's a Warwick double-neck. 🤘🤘
@@hansv.d.hooven5232Yes, if I got it right
they didn´t make this modell for some yrs
until the new owner of the brand got it back.

Yep, Floor is powerful - but she is also unique in her coloring her voice, - here her voice are filled with sorrow and hope, which also makes it kind of sad. She is - - - - Floor.
She hit you with Tuomas's lyrics - hard, backed by very tight and emotional playing from the guys.
Great song and great reaction from you.
If you are going for The Greatest Show on Earth - please prepare this:
Google "The Greatest Show on Earth" the book written by the scientist Richard Dawkins - and read the description.
Pick the Tampere 2015 version - and remember to STAY ON until the video is completely finished. All the speaking after they finish playing, is an important part of the song - and the speaker is the scientist Richard Dawkins himself!!
Notice all the synchronized effects, used to enhance the story/song/ documentary - I don't think you have ever experienced any metal song like this - nope I promise you that 😏
A very powerfull song, Floor knocking it out of the park.
✌️✌️
Dead - Boy's - Poem. It's not going to be sweetness and bumblebees. Enjoy it!
Nobody's laughing at you. In any case, we all laugh WITH you because we share the joy of listening to Nightwish and following the journey of someone else (we have all been there). "Emotionally confused" is a good way to describe what this band does to anybody, the mix of beautiful sadness that at the same time makes you happy but drained but full of energy but exhausted but... you just want more!
I thank you for your genuine reaction. Your open approach to their music and heartfelt analysis and showing and Sharing your emotions Don’t make me laugh but bring you from the shared rollercoaster of emotions that I have been gone ttrhu in my journey.
Bring joy
I appreciate that! thank you ✌️✌️
Pretty sure this one gets a lot of people!! Loving your reactions!!
Thank you, I appreciate that ✌️✌️
When your Don with all the great live versions start with the new album song one, and do them all👍 great reaction!!
Absolutely love this song, you should stay with Buenos Aires and check out Devil and the deep dark ocean 🤘🤘
Even those South Americans were silent as Floor began to sing...😁
Yes, Marko plays guitar also. This monster is a Warwick/Framus Infinity/Panthera double neck guitar and bass, custom made to Mr. Hietala (quite a heavy instrument 😉). This is a sad but beautiful song. Notice how stonefaced the always cheerful Emppu is when doing his solo. This is an excellent performance and a great reaction from you. ⛄👍 (And i'm not laughing).
Thanks
it was my pleasure. thank you
The whole thing with music is if it makes us feel anything strongly it's a success, just like any art. I've cried over a painting, marvelled at a sculpture.
I have to fully agree with you on that. I was very foturnate growing up to have parents that encouraged my brother and I to get into Music aaaaaan the fact that my father worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, so we practially grew up there when we were not in school and my Mom needed to do something. It was amazing see all the forms of art represented there.
@@CUTnPASTEreacts oh that's super cool! Whereas my mum has mysophonia (I think that's the spelling) where she's super sensitive to noise. Like even when dad was working on the cars no radio on etc. They really only listened to Neil Diamond & Tom Jones. Like mum was in the city when the Beatles came & she said it was just annoying with all the street closures as she just wanted to get to work lol like omg.
I guess that's why I gravitated to friends in school who had "cool parents" who had like led zeppelin, the stones, the who, Bowie & so on records which we used to play the hell out of, one of my mate's folks were punksin England in the 70s & that led me to a happy place with ska. Most of my friends are arty types, one is in a position to curate shows. I wish you could see it but one of my mates did this amazing piece of art for me as a gift. An amazing oil painting. He passed away 2 years ago now & I still feel him here with that.
I have zero art talent haha like absolutely none. They tried me to do art therapy & I'm like how do I draw a feeling? So I look up to my mates & anyone who can do anything in the scope of art.
@Shannon Briscoe Well after 43 years of being around, I can call my parents cool, I definitley wasn't saying that at the time 😂😂😂😂, but i totally get what you mean, and other kids did think my Mom was cool, everyone was afraid of my Dad. But in the end, I get what they did and why and it usuualy was for the better, so no complaints here, at least not any more 😁😁
@@CUTnPASTEreacts yeah I'm about to be 42 so I hear you there. It was always odd to light up a spliff with my mates folks just hanging out. They were the cool parents. Mine were cool cos I was allowed boy & girl sleepovers. With everyone squished into my room I could have like 7 people over. They were good times. My folks were "every 5 min the toilet is flushing" cos we were all well drunk & I'm like yeah there's like 8 people here! Lol
@@shirazzza sounds like a lot of fun
My favorite, thanks 🙏🏻
Love you man
Thx ✌️✌️, right back at you
The original epic Nightwish tearjerker, 15-20 years ago this was the one everyone was looking forward to hearing live precisely because of the emotion it packs (plus obviously it's a very beautiful song). And yeah, this one is not exactly a theoretical suicide note but, I believe, Tuomas trying to say things that he needed to say in song in case he never managed to otherwise say them (typical Finnish man, not very good at talking about his feelings in person).
Good reaction,. Just a suggestion, I learned a long time ago to never turn off a Nightwish video until the screen goes absolutely black. Often another small plus, even if it's just a sweet 'Thank You" from Floor. Very important for "The Greatest Show on Earth".
you know when Marco is playing the double neck as a guitar as he has to put his knee up to lift the guitar section up to a good playing height!! Emotional response is the only reason to listen to music and when something hits you that is the best feeling no matter how it hits you...happy/sad or whatever :D
Marco plays a Warwick base combined with a Framus guitar. Both are two related German companies.
Now one of my favorite NW songs but I literally had to keep fighting through it because of the strong emotions it gve me.
What I like to hear after this one, just as epic but to kinda balance it out, is the studio recording of "Meadows of Heaven". There is unfortunately no good live recording of it I can find and the fan made lyrics videos are nice but kinda unnecessary, so I fall back to the studio version from the Nightwish channel.
Hi Floor looks very regal with her arms spread out and then the movements with her arms with the music.
Very nice react.
Can understand why you are emotionally confused. Also happened to me the first time I heard it.
A song where the emotions burst from the stage, or in this case from the screen and out of the speaker.
Emotions unfiltered into your brain! That's what this band does.
Not very good, not amazing, not super but legendary!!!
Legit emotions from your side.
Nightwish is like Shakespeare play very poetic and many different chapters
I have to 100% agree on that
I had tears 2 minutes in... nice reaction, yet again. You gotta do a marko-centric song such as “while your lips are still red” (Wembley) or “the islander” (Tampere)
We’re not laughing, we’re feeling the same, I’ve seen it 50 times at least and still feel the same😅
I appreciate that. ✌️✌️
Btw. Marko plays guitar as well as bass I´ve seen, and he has his own band too.
Thanks Jatta, I knew about his band, I just didn't know he played the Guitar too, nor have I seen and Bass and Guitar in one before. usually just double guitars
and he also plays the cello

I understand you brother, I keep crying with their songs and I still don't understand why ... I guess it's because of the general composition and the way they perform them live ... It's a band that goes a bit beyond music.
Not at you with you we all sat in the same chair 🤘🤘🤘💖
I'm not crying... You're crying 😢
It's important to remember that Floor is an empath, and is very keyed into Tuomas's emotions. Marko is playing The Beast. Is a custom blend by the bass company he uses.
Tuomas has referred to himself as The Dead Boy in other songs as well as Ocean Born . Check out The Last Ride. His life HAS changed in the past ten years, he has changed his out look. He is a much happier person! Have you listened to The Last Ride? It will lift you up so much!
Not laughing at you. NW slams into me all the time! The Wacken 13 performances constantly stop me in my tracks and make me a grinning, drooling fool.
Its meant to and no NW fan will ever laugh at you .You did miss that Troy is playing rhythm guitar all through this as well ,his guitar work and vocals features more from around that time to now .Check out the Islander to see Marco on the guitar Tampere concert out on his own up front surrounded by thousands.
I think Emppu the guitarist walked away, coz how wanted the focus to move on to the next face of the song.
This is an excellent example of how he puts the song as the priority number 1. He sees himself just as a part of the story telling, so with this sad and serious song he's serious, though he's usually a smiling and grinning guy, andhe walks away to fade from the spotlight - to give space for the next phase of the song, mainly the keys.
check out the lyrics and poem ,beautiful
That Is Marcos guitar/ bass combination - it has nickname "The Beast"... It's not too often hanging from his neck. Weight 21.11 kg / 46.54 lb - keep that for 2hrs gig, LOL
Oh Damnn, thats a serious piece of equipment there ✌️✌️
It actually weighs a lot less than that. Its 5.7kg, or approx 12.6lb, according to the Warwick website.
@@badsiony His single neck warwick Endorser weights 5.9 kg /13lbs and his doubleneck guitar/bass warwick infinity is lighter - ok...
@@MustaLaatta I'm not just making this up for the hell of it dude... it's literally on the Warwick website. I'll even link it for you. It DOES weigh 5.7kg.

@@badsiony that makes it a lot more bearable, thx for the update.
This is the only Nightwish song I actually prefer Tarja's vocals on.
Her opera soprano adds an ethereal quality that the song demands.
Troy can also be heard singing for the first time on the Decade Tour: The Carpenter czcams.com/video/Di197sOG21c/video.html . It is the first single Nightwish released (1997), back then with Tuomas as the singer czcams.com/video/Z4A5HwMOfW8/video.html . After that he preferred to get guest musicians to the microphone until Marko was there.
I'm not laughing at you. Nightwish just does that. After hearing certain Nightwish songs for the first time I was just staring at the wall, trying to let it all sink in. The emotions, the lyrics, the music. The touch you in a funny place.
yeah, I'm still surprised how they get to me so easily. I just assume that the audience is laughing because i'm now learning what they already know ✌️✌️
We laugh because we've ALL experienced it ourselves. We laugh WITH you, not AT you.
Yeah I realise that, but it's still interesting to me that they get to me so often. ✌️✌️
@@CUTnPASTEreacts Just accept the inevitable. 😁
@@ChrisPage68 I think I'm there now ✌️✌️
I think the tone is meant to be melancholic rather than uplifting. It's a sort of poem by Tuomas imagining what would be his legacy and what he would say to the world if he were to die tomorrow. It's a rather old song, from 2000.
so next one nightwish . the islander ? for more marco guitar double :D
Marco is primarily a guitarist by trade that transitioned to bass, he can also fingerpick.
thats really impressive, I had no idea ✌️✌️
Please do Devil&the deep dark ocean from same concert.
