- 2nd grade performs Fight Song dedicated to Julie who is the mom of a 2nd grader in this class. (Feb 2016)
Update (April 2017): Julie passed away much too soon April 29, 2017 at the age of 48 leaving behind her now 3rd grade daughter and 12th grade son who is about to graduate high school and move away to college. The hearts of her family and friends are broken.
At the time of this video her cancer was in remission and we were all hopeful. The families got together secretly to put this dance routine together to surprise Julie. It was performed at the school talent show and there wasn't a dry eye in the room.
Tomorrow is not promised. Make the best of today and be kind to each other.
This made me tear up. I recently lost my grandmother to a 4 year battle with lung cancer.

Awwwwwwwwwwww that’s amazing. I did this song with my dance group, as one of our members was in critical care at the hospital. She sadly passed away, but she was so thankful to see our performance. Theses kids are amazing

This song has helped so many of us fighting deadly illnesses and I'm one of them. It has such power and I thank these children for giving me another chance to hear it. These children are a similar age to the little ones that I taught when I was well enough to be a teacher. Why to go guys you did a brilliant job.

These kids are adorable and very kind to go through with learning that for someone they probably don't know. If you are having trouble any were out there and you need something to help, these kids are sweet, kind, brave, patient, selfless, and very loving. Everyone of all ages should look at these children like role models and true hero's. Everyone with cancer out there, we support you, love you, honor you, and pray for you to get better and I truly hope this video does help.

my grandmother who basically raised me passed away from cancer in three spots of her body and a tumor in her right hip. of course she was too stubborn to go to the hospital until it almost overtook her whole body. she passed away about 4 months ago but I know she will always be in my heart. for anyone who has cancer I pray for you and hope is always there. hope is what keeps me alive, what keeps us alive and together. I am fighting for both those wh6 have cancer and for those who don't. I fight for everyone with my hope and my support/love.
