- This old oil can deserved a new lease of life. I came up with a great way to display it with pouring oil and a vintage bulb. I've not seen this pouring oil done before on any conversion but I love the effect. I hope you do too.

Man!!!! What A Beauty!!! Well Made And So Colorful!!!
Out of the box thinking. Amazing job done. Bravo.
Fantastic, the oil drip is inspired I wondered what the hell is he going to do with that? Lol.
Yes Dave, I've not seen it done before on these conversions but I think it works well
Stunning job, love the oil effect coming from the spout! Brilliant as usual, nice extra safety there with the earth bonding!
Excellent creativity and craftmanship !
Fantastic! Now, I want one just like it! Beautiful work, Martin!

Brilliant job there Martin love the oil coming out
I was scratching my head when you were shaping and hot gluing the coat hanger, then you hit it with the glossy black paint and I said yes that's perfect! Turned out extremely well, love the color and the look of it, definitely worthy of a man cave!
Perfect for the Top Gear/Grand Tour set. Nice!
Great job Martin . Nice touch with the oil.
You've taken a worthless piece of junk and re-purposed it into an awesome work of folk art and a great conversation piece. I had no idea where you were going but I have to say, I certainly would love to have that in my man cave any time. Good job for sure, keep up the great videos.

Brilliant in idea and execution.
The best part about this restoration Martin was the strip down, you only had to take the cap off compared to your normal 500 various bits and pieces 😂 lovely job again 👍👍

THAT is one of the COOLEST ideas I've seen so far! Great Job!
Lovely job!!!
I saw this earlier- perhaps you could do a twist on this - czcams.com/video/L-qgKC5vtmg/video.html - may be a doll with vomit coming out of the mouth....
Martin
I’d say this is probably my favourite piece so far very inventive bud 👏🏼👏🏼

Are you sure Sharon's not going to want it?
Fabulous idea Martin and the oil is perfect.
Sharon's already claimed it Barbara lol.
Woww.fantastic
Would make a great retro tool box for a classic car, but love the lamp Martin.
This is amazing, but honestly I could have done without the spurt of oil. I just think it looked too weird and fake. But the restore on the can was great and I loved the antique looking bulb you used. Outstanding job as usual!
I love the oil spout
Texas tea lamp, well done.
Fantastique, le goutte à goutte d'huile est inspiré
Woooooow 😍😍😍😍
this is what i like to see...some old stuff just isn't worth restoring...but also too cool to scrap
Nice
Love how this project turned out! Can you assist with some Tips on how one can print their own Water Slide Decals? Thanks!
You only need a standard printer. I have a laser printer but you can buy waterslide transfer paper for inkjet printers as well. Once you have printed them, you need to lacquer them with a clear lacquer to seal in the ink.
@@RetroHax Thanks for that!
OMG it's a spray job
love it martin hope sharon sell it to me lol.
She's claimed it Brad lol
I've recently given a worse example to my mate Simon. For his collection of cars for film and tv work.
This is not intended as criticism (you do outstanding work!) but why didn't you pour some OSPHO into the can after the liquified rust poured through the bottom? OSPHO would neutralize rust coat the interior metal to prevent further rusting.
Yes I could have done but I doubt it will rust out as it will be kept inside now.
@@RetroHax Thanks for sharing your reasoning.
I know the inside would not be used, but I cannot help but think that the rust inside could have been cleaned too, perhaps with rust remover liquid, for a perfectly inside-and-out cleaning. But loved the idea nonetheless.
Man, I’d love to try this. But finding oil cans that sharp around U.K. is little difficult. Also the wiring part, I’m a dumbass so I’d probs electrocute myself.
fantastic I see why you didn't powder coat this time
Just fancied a change Pete.
@@RetroHax oh I thought you didn't want to go boom! old oil cans are known to do that I had a friend who did up a pennzoil can oh I removed all the oil he made or was making a gas can out of it went to welding on it well it went KABOOM! broke three of his fingers.
Nice build, I have a blue one of those cans knocking about somewhere. Where did you get those transfers ? I'm not great with printers and computers, there's no way I could figure out how to design and make my own !! Apologies if you have covered the subject before , I must of missed that one ! lol
Google images and a bit of my own style.
I really like the final product but... Didn't you clean/take the rust of the interior?
No point in doing that.
Subskrypcjia i łapka w górę z Polski 💪
Couldn't work out what you were doing with the glue until the end.
👍📹💡
👍👏👍👏👍👏
Neat! But it would have looked better without the light bulb.
Yum ... rust soup. Full of iron to make you strong.
Parrifin can in the uk lol
Do you have birds?
Its a recording of my garden at dawn.
RetroHax nice, i have songbirds birds.
Great job, lost your voice mate ???
Its a Paraffin can. Not an oil can. :)
Yes I know.
Cracking result that would look good on my side
