  • This old oil can deserved a new lease of life. I came up with a great way to display it with pouring oil and a vintage bulb. I've not seen this pouring oil done before on any conversion but I love the effect. I hope you do too.

      You only need a standard printer. I have a laser printer but you can buy waterslide transfer paper for inkjet printers as well. Once you have printed them, you need to lacquer them with a clear lacquer to seal in the ink.

    This is not intended as criticism (you do outstanding work!) but why didn't you pour some OSPHO into the can after the liquified rust poured through the bottom? OSPHO would neutralize rust coat the interior metal to prevent further rusting.

    • @RetroHax
      @RetroHax  Před 4 lety +1

      Yes I could have done but I doubt it will rust out as it will be kept inside now.

    I know the inside would not be used, but I cannot help but think that the rust inside could have been cleaned too, perhaps with rust remover liquid, for a perfectly inside-and-out cleaning. But loved the idea nonetheless.
