Max August Tim Edey plays a lot in double dropped D (DADGBD) which I think he's playing in here. Trying out that tuning and trying to copy some of his shapes led to a bunch of 'aha' moments for me. Now if I could only decode what he's doing with his right hand... I still wouldn't be able to play like him!

The 3rd is The Lisnagun
Could well be double dropped D (DADGBD), which Tim often uses.
Holy crickets -- wasn't that wonderful!
fascinating guitar and capowork!!! does anybody know the guitartuning?
I believe McGoldrick plays a left-handed Grinter.
Can anybody tell me what kind of flute is that ?
The guitar player knows exactly where's its at...
Mirando697 its your standard Irish flute :)
I've seen Mike play these tunes before, what is it he does at 1:04? He bends that note something crazy 😀
He moves from B to the C key and increases the air pressure while he's doing it. It's cool!
Unless you mean at 1:09? Passes through the G sharp key on the way from G to A...
most guitar players in this style use the DADGAD tuning.
Drop D i think thats DADGBE
Stop grinning like your on prozac
Keep grinning Tim! :D
