the only other team that was Perfect in the preseason (4-0) and then went winless in the regular season (0-16) other than the 2008 Detroit Lions was the 2017 Cleveland Browns which in the same year the Detroit Lions went 9-7 but missed the playoffs and then fired coach Jim Caldwell and since they had 4 straight losing seasons while the Browns made the Playoffs in 2020 and won their first playoff game since 1994 while the Lions haven't won a playoff game since 1991

He was not getting the ball out of the endzone. It was either run out of the endzone for a safety or get the life smacked out of him by Jared Allen...for a safety.

He does point out an interesting factoid which is the 2008 Lion were undefeated in the preseason. Coincidentally the 0-16 2017 Browns also had an undefeated preseason.
Undefeated preseasons are bad luck. Gotta notch some wins and losses in preseason or you’re gonna have a bad time.
