A lightweight crank pulley is a must-do mod for an NA car. You will 100% feel it. Better throttle response , free revving, wakes up the car all around.
have definitely heard similar reviews about it. Most people testify that you can actually feel the difference, so it may be more of the more “worth” it mods lol. I definitely think you’ll feel the Pulley more than the tune

Yeah, I have it. It is a very fun mod. Also, it improves midrange acceleration in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. RR racing says, it is about 0.2 - 0.3 seconds improvement in the quarter, but it makes the car feel much lighter. Cheers!
Get the pulley. I have it. It is $450 + installation, but it is totally worth it. It improves acceleration in lower gears especially 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

@@DennisMoMoneyThenYoujust lighter pulleys and the water pump pulley will make it not work as hard by increasing its diameter. There’s a guy here on CZcams with an installation video for his ISF. Great all around mod for less rotational mass and less stress.

Nice vid. Are they worth it? From what perspective? Cost per horsepower? Arguably no. Cost per fun and joy. Yes. Unfortunately you really gotta pay to play with that engine, but damn the sounds when you do. Kinda surprised you don't have an intake as I thought they helped the intake sound.

Beware, if it is not a 2020+ RCF then it has a wrap on it. Wraps often hide flaws in the car.

I love lexus but honestly these cars just arent the best buck for the money if performance is all you care about. Shame too, toyota needs to give love to lexus and manufacture a beast like the supra.
If i’m being honest, I agree with you to an extent. Theyre not a bang for the buck if you’re trying to achieve extremely high power and beat world records. Now, the Supra? Now we’re talking. We just need a 2ur in it and we’re good!
I did an HPS intake elbow for my isf and a K&N oiled filter
Sikky v1 headers, and Xforce varex valved exhaust
Sheesh! I definitely love the variety bro! And I tried to get the Sikky headers, but they’re unfortunately discontinued

I swapped my diff to the 3.7 but I was fbo before I did and man that really woke the car up fr whole new car definitely wish the car came like this from factory I also did the lightweight pulley and the car is definitely a beast all around rolls digs and still got top end so fbo to me even when I was with stock diff is definitely worth it
Woah! What did you swap your differential with? Also, I just may get the pulley now lol. Most people are saying it definitely makes a difference

Hey man I’m thinking of getting a RCF I’m wondering how much is the insurance?
Insurance honestly varies. Depending on where you live, your driving record, whether you’ve obtained your defensive driving certificate, etc, but I can say that insurance is similar to most vehicles. Just be prepared to pay slightly more due to the higher horsepower and also because it’s a v8
im the same way bro im lexus till i die and i admit bmw i the best DRIVERS car brand, like if you like driving and having a good time doing it and looking sexy, BMW is there but lexus does everything good, but only excels at reliability

You cannot compare this car to the BMW G 80 this engine is an older motor which started in the year 2008 with the ISF. The G80 wasn’t even in production at the time when this engine was around so it’s apples to oranges. lexus has not given us new Turbo charged vehicles so until that time the V8 engines are what we have to play with right now you have to compare these cars to the E 90 v8 generation of bmw not the G80
Agreed. I’m not comparing motors. I’m just comparing tuning potentials due to one being NA and the other being boosted. G80/G82s are usually the first car to pop up in my head. I’ve often included Q60s in the mix, but they don’t pop up in my mind as easily. And G80s are famous for getting to 700whp with a tune and a bolt on either minimal spending. Unlike the RCF.

@@Mr_Odog Yes, you feel the change in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Lighter inertia means faster rev up and down. Shifts are more crisp as well.

The only down fault with any of the F cars the gears are to long
Gears are indeed super long smh. Lightweight pulley should slightly help with that
RCF is meant for the race track. In a straight line, shorter gears help lower speed acceleration while taller gears help with high speed acceleration, but around a long sweeping turn, taller gears help you corner faster. RCF was tuned for high speed race tracks so the gearing is tall to make sure you can hold a gear in long sweeping turns and accelerate out in the lowest gear.

@@JosephMaldonado of course bro, I record 1080p at 30fps, but I don’t export my videos at a maximum of 4k. Also, sometimes CZcams renders your video to only 480p-720p after an upload, but it provides better quality after an hour or so.

What's the difference in gas mileage?
Gas Mileage is about the same, but most people will think it’s different since all of these mods sort of encourage you to constantly step on it more lol.
The RCF uses the Otto cycle AND the Atkinson cycle so it’s great, the gas mileage comes down on how your lead foot works lol
B58 will cost you way more on the long run, you pay for the premium reliability of the lexus

This car isn’t slow by any means. It definitely isn’t the fastest either. You gotta be one of those guys that think anything under 1000hp is slow lol.
Also, it’s a pretty iconic/rare car. Not even going to go back and forth with you either 🤣. There are other “iconic” cars out there besides GTR’s, Supra’s etc. Shit, probably a few cars you haven’t heard of that’s iconic lol
@@Mr_Odog Agreed. Hater gonna hate. FBO + tune RCFs have proven to be fully capable of 11s without internal mods and even without drag radials etc. and they are more suited for high speed rolling races like a 50 - 150 mph roll. The guy has an econo sh*tbox Golf in his profile so no wonder he is hating on it. I murder Golf Rs in a high speed rolls unless they had turbo upgrades + internal mods.
