      They are covered a bit better here: www.chuckhawks.com/fabarm_ELOS-D2_2024.html .

    Thank you so much for the in-depth review. You make me want to buy one. Where can you get the fab arm serviced?

    Randy you say they have made refinements. Is there a noticeable difference in the 12-gauge aluminum receiver D2 's by year?

    • @RandyWakeman
      @RandyWakeman  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Not that I know of, since the Elos became the DII.

      @@RandyWakemanhave you handled an alloy 12. Do thy balance as well as the 20?
      Did you go with a d2 because you also carry the l4s?

      Yes, they both balance superbly well. Every wild pheasant I took last year was with a 20 gauge.

      @@RandyWakeman Thank you sir, I appreciate it.
      Not the norm but every pheasant I shot last year was with steel shot. I’m at the point where I need shave some weight off of my everyday gun. I may start moving towards bismuth if recoil becomes noticeable but I’m not quite ready for sub 6.

      As far as refinements, Bruce Buck does a good job discussing them here: shootingsportsman.com/fabarm-elos-d2/ . Bruce is retired now. Since Bruce's review the steel breechface has veen added, the triggers are lighter, and the case supplied has been upgraded as well to the INTEGRALE™ Case.

      @@RandyWakeman balance , and recoil?... I bought the Fabarms L4S on your review...NO REGRETS...and just bought the 725 today....I want with the 725 because of the length of pull.....I need 14.25"

      I took a close look at the 725 Feather, both on video and a text review: www.chuckhawks.com/browning_725_feather_20ga.html . The 725 did quite well. Of course there are differences, the Fabarm having cast to the stock, over-proofed barrels to 1630 BAR, tighter bore tolerances, better factory chokes, 5 year written warranty, and so forth,
