- Glorious weather greeted the Ploughing Match & Show at Llandenny last Sunday. Vintage tractors, horse drawn ploughs and many other wonderful working machines were in action! Here is a short montage of that day. ©Studious Multimedia

Wow, beautifully done!
Thank You for posting....video looks wonderful
Thank you for your comment Jason. It's much appreciated!
In this situation, with the noise of the tractors on the day, it was not evident. I've yet to do interviews on this camera, but I have to say that, so far, the fan noise is not intrusive. Obviously, with an external mike, I'd of thought it would not be a problem. The camera is really nice to use. I've always used 'shoulder mount' cameras in the past, so I do miss that factor, but there are many features that I do like. The viewfinder on the rear is really sharp, the 'flip out' viewfinder is surprisingly bright, and all the controls seem to be logically placed. The sensitivity of the chips and lack of noise is truly excellent. I'm shooting at 50Mbps . The lens is nice and wide, yet gives you a very respectable range for those telephoto shots too. I'm using this camera on my Vinten vision 100 head ( yes that does seem overkill!) BUT it does keep the shots really steady and smooth. All in all, a real gem of a camera for the money, in my humble opinion. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your helpful response. I have ordered a HM620!
You're most welcome. When you've got it I'd love to see something you've shot too!
How did you find using the JVC-GY HM620? Did you manage ok with the fan noise coming from the back of the camera?
can you plug a zoom controller into it so you are zooming from the handle of the tripod?
Hi Ed. Yes, a LANC based remote interface is on the camera.
