  • Where can you go 350-million years back in time, and only be 5 minutes from downtown Louisville? It’s at the Falls of the Ohio, located just across the river there in Clarksville Indiana. At one point the entire area was a prehistoric sea, and many of the creatures and plants that existed back then were fossilized - and are still visible this day. Let’s take a look.

    Grew up in Lexington, and whenever a new subdivision was built, there were tons of small fossils in the dirt. Of course Lexington is much larger today than it was back then in the '70s, but I bet there's still plenty to find.

    Instead of getting "pushed off" most of the native american tribes would sell their land.
