I love this story. I haven't had the blessing to see either Ken Davis or David Ring in person, but I certainly hope to one day.

I believe the title should be Canadian Border. I was expecting a story about a Canadian person staying at Ken's house!!
Great story - I love hearing about and from David Ring. Such a humorous and gracious man :)

A boarder is only a person who takes their meals on a regular basis at an establishment that provides board, or meals. Hence, a boarder. If he or she also rents a room, then they are paying for ROOM and BOARD. If they only rent a room, they are ROOMERS (?) but not BOARDERS.

The title is wrong! This is not about a Canadian BOARDER: a Canadian that has contracted with a provider for meals. This is about crossing the BORDER between The USA and Canada.

Canadian Boarder. Don't you mean Canadian Border. A Boarder is someone who rents a room and takes meals. A Border is the boundary between nations.

Yes, I'm from Canada and I don't like customs either. Either side. I guess it all depends on the person and the day they are having.
