I met Ken Davis as a teen which is 35 years ago. He performed at Bethany Cov. I had a very tough upbringing with a lot of abuse. We spoke quite a while after his performance. He gave me hope in the Lord. Taught me that God loves to laugh. Thank you. All this time later finding you here is wonderful

Doctors are only practicing, the Great Physician actually heals the sick, makes the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear and the dead raise with a Word or a touch. Sometimes like a surgeon he will use a fine instrument such as Ken Davis to tickle your funny bone.

I was laughing so hard tears were running down my face! Laughter is good medicine especially when the humor points to the Lord! Sometimes we can be so hard on ourselves but because of God's boundless love He gives the freedom to laugh at ourselves instead. He loves us soooo much we will never fully comprehend it this side of heaven!

I absolutely agree. Laughing so hard tears are coming down my cheeks; then my heart being so touched I again have tears running down my cheeks. I was laughing out loud by myself so loud, my animals were concerned and I woke up my husband.

I spent a good portion of this stand up comedy on my knees crying... not for the jokes, but for the realization that I have made mistakes in my life which I can not undo. Oh, this was exactly what I needed to see/hear today. What a wonderful, Godly, FUNNY man and I love his wife Diane and his children and grandchildren too.
I found this Channel after watching something else and have Subscribed of course.
"THOU SHALT LAUGH" with Chonda Pierce is where I started yesterday......I LOL, I cried, I LOL some more.
I spent almost THREE whole hours watching these Godly people be REAL and funny at the same time. NO cursing, no sexual jokes; it was like "Heaven on Earth". I'd never heard of most of them before now.
I"ve been going through some VERY tough times myself for the last few months and this was like going to Therapy but I didn't have to make an appointment and it was FREE!
I'll definitely be watching many more of these wonderful Shows......and sharing with my friends and family too.

Oh I believe him. I got locked in my car once.
His little grand daughter who prayed for him like that was taught by example to do that and she will grow up with God in her heart. comedy routine where God is brought into the bit makes a lot of people uncomfortable. I find it so hopeful to know that God is still with us, and hasn't been erased from the hearts of so many people.

When Ken Davis spoke about people waiting a week or a week and half just to see their doctor, I take plenty of provisions with me on 4 pack horses, with my saddlebags flung over my shoulders while I wait for the nurse to call me back, BUT to wait for my doctor to finally come in😊.

I sit in a chair already for four years after a car accident.
I cannot do much. So once in a while when I get upset that I have nothing I go to yutube and turn on your channel.
It does not take long and I laugh. I laugh so hard my body shakes. My friend knows that when I am in so much pain that I shake I talk to her and she says: what happened to Herman?
And I laugh that I spit and cannot stop because my mind is not right either. I see things and I see Herman with his stiff legs. And the pain is less for a bit. Thank you.

I find it helpful to ALWAYS drive through Kansas AND Nebraska at night! This way the kids can sleep in the car and IF they do wake up they can look at the stars (imo the scenery is MUCH better than the scenery in these 2 states during the day 🤫)
I really appreciate that you are a master storyteller. There's a lot of great comedians out there and a lot of them do a series of one-liners. That brought back warm memories and joyful tears. My dad did the same thing when he gave me away at our wedding 50 years ago. I remember his voice saying "My mother and I" just as clearly now as when he spoke those words that day.

At 23:00 I thought he was talking about my mom. She was 88 and in a wheelchair. The TSA in Phoenix decided she needed a secondary screening. They did a full body pat down. When it was over she thanked them saying, "That was fun! Let's do it again." They quickly escorted her out of there.
