I have no intentions of buying a new detector. I am a Equinox 800 user and I've babied it since I've had it. I haven't taken it into the water because of leaking issues and I also added a coil ear stiffener because of the coil ear issues. What I want to know is, is my 800 obsolete now or can I expect another update because Nokta is looking good with the updates that they're adding to the Legend!
Nokta is looking REAL good.maybe that's why minelab is trying to sue them lol.

I have always owned Minelab detectors.In my opinion they’re second to none. I was swinging an equinox, and I wanted to upgrade to the CTX 3030 but they were just a little bit too pricey for my budget so I bought myself the Deus 2 and right after I bought it, I found out about the manticore. I have a Deus 2 for sale if anybody’s interested!
I wouldn't sell that D2 for a Manticore just yet... people who've already paid in full for a Manticore from a legit Minelab dealer are still waiting on delivery after MONTHS. I'd just keep the D2 and swing it myself, I doubt a Manticore would find much a D2 wouldn't, and the D2 is lighter. To each his own though.

Lol no sht man! OVER $2,000 for a glorified nox???.why does minelab "magically " release this "new" technology after other companies like Garrett and nokta kick their asses on price point and performance.
Why did you do this to your dealers??!! I have never seen such a terrible roll out of a device.
Still waiting on my fully paid preorder from August 2022. This is complete BS. How about taking care of the people who ordered FIRST. Been waiting months yet people are buying it from Cabela's before fulfillment of preorders.
It's like standing in line for hours waiting for a product but you let people that just showed up jump in front of the line. Cabela's got over 150 units, while small dealers are only getting 2 or 3 machines.
No manticore to buy in all Australia. Such a big scam. Trying to buy one nearly 1.5 months non on any dealer.
It was a stupid move for Minelab to launch the Manticore, then roll out the 700/900 soon there after. Yes, I understand your Parent company is flailing financially, but maybe you should have concentrated on one product and distribute to those who have been waiting for months!! And, the smaller distributors are being ignored and are holding dollars on pre-orders!! Stupid move Minelab!!
Performance isn’t everything, getting one would be nice. Everyone seems to be getting them except for those of us who prepaid at a real dealer.
The Manticore might have performance but Minelab doesn’t at this point.
Being an Australian were Minelab Headquarters are, I am bitterly disappointed with your company, we still cant get our hands on one. Fair dinkum, it seems only the "Selected Few" have them...I cancelled my order and will never buy another Minelab product.
I am feeling the same! But from way back when I bought an xterra 705 and then out popped the nox800- I will be buying a noctra I think....
You sent 7 pieces to Germany, 2 to Hungary and 5 to Austria. Are you serious? You are humiliating the European costumers AF.
