Thank you Vince. Can you shed some light on how to deal with a break in one's career (say 3 years) where the subject did nothing. How bad/good it is? Consider the subject has 5+ years of experience in a tech field.

What do you think about engineers perseuing mba?
Alvin Stanley I think it can be a great idea. Depends on what you trying to do next. Product management? Personally, I am a fan of Kellogg MMM, if HBS and Stanford don't work out :) Also some of my engineer clients do well at so-called "finance" schools like Wharton and Chicago. Hi Ankita,
First, choose and narrow your focus. Brand and product manager require different skills. Be precise.
Then, focus on the specific skills you need to perform that role. Finally, explain why an MBA (in general) and this school (in particular) best prepare you to perform that role.
