    I am definitely in favor of switching to netracells, or at least mixing it in with taveuni. That's more representative of the higher difficulty/aspirational content of today.

    I like the idea of netracells as a benchmark for how well a warframe is a doing content.
    I used to not like to watch the sp runs after the build breakdown, but I started watching when I realized you tend to talk a lot more about how different mechanics work.
    You go into more detail about your reasoning behind why you take your builds in the direction you do.
    Its very informative and helpful.

  • @Poisen_
    @Poisen_ Před 2 měsíci +80

    I am in favor of swapping to Netracells, but I'd only do it from the release of your 2024 tierlist onwards, so that all of the builds up to that point are beholden to the same standard. From then on you can (and should) swap to a new standard - that being Netracells - for the eventual 2024 refreshes.

    Things that would help your Atlas build(s) tremendously:
    - Path of Statues removes most of the need for energy economy and/or range in your Rubble Heap build. The two augment mods feed into one-another super well, and Path of Statues is also impacted by Ore Gaze. In this same point, you could fill that helminth slot for something fun like Roar, Terrify, Gloom or Pillage (some of which also benefit from the added damage mods in the place of the energy economy mods you no longer need lol).
    - Magus Anomaly is a suitable way to gather enemies for petrification if you didn't use mod slots on range. It works best with the density of enemies found in SP missions. The Nautilus sentinel with Cordon also works I guess.
    - Molt Augmented and Arcane Fury both work as damage buffs if you like that build route. Additionally, if you don't have an Incarnon stat stick, Arcane Avenger is still the way to go.
    - Other Incarnon stat sticks like the base Magistar or the SIbear have similar, and in some cases better, overall output than the Ceramic Dagger, due to their similar crit damage/chance AND their synergy with Magus Aggress' (bugged) proc damage with heavy blades and hammers. It's also far easier to get rivens for the likes of those other weapons, since the Ceramic Dagger is in FAR higher demand.
    - Reducing range in your build (strangely) increases your invulnerability time, since you have to dash again to the enemies your explosive landslide hits don't reach, and that increases the up-time of invulnerability overall.
    - Panser Vulpaphyla is a huge buff to your survivability and damage with the right mod setup (including the likes of Tenacious Bond, Viral Quills, Panzer Devolution, Link Fiber, Hunter Recovery, Pack Loader, Tek Assault, Martyr Symbiosis), and the use of Bite can enhance the crit damage of Landslide. It's probably a good companion combo for most stat stick users.
    - Violet or crimson Archon Shards are also a fun way to ramp up critical damage, especially if you add (Primed) Flow to your frame config.
    The damage output and survivability with the tweaks above can help Atlas survive far longer than the build in the video, and deal hundreds of millions, sometimes billions of damage in a single punch to SP enemies.

      path of statues seems to be remarkably inconsistent at petrifying the target you're actually punching and i don't know how you're consistently getting it to hit multiple enemies on the way to your target - also it really doesn't appear to actually give you enough rubble per kill to reach the 1400 threshold before your energy hits 0 at lower enemy density

    • @Lynx11364
      @Lynx11364 Před 2 měsíci +3

      @@ecbrd8478 It's simple, punch a single time (preferably a long distance), backtrack to the start of the path of statues AoE it leaves, then use Magus Anomaly to group enemies into it. You should only have to do this 1-2 times on SP to get to 1,500 rubble, typically in less than the first 35-45 seconds of a mission.
      Side notes: Path of Statues is less consistent if you're not host, and jumping before dashing to a target will petrify them if you don't immediately kill them.

    Always love to see a Brozime build vid. If the frame has something to show off in netracells then that would be nice to show off, but I feel like there are definitely some frames that are better shown off in regular SP survival.
    That being said, you might consider doing a run in whatever endgame mission a frame is best in.

  • @BamaMophi

    Another quality of life I’d like to see for Atlas is better upkeep for his Rubble. There are a few ways this could happen and it doesn’t really need a lot to make it happen. But currently you lose rubble way to easily and quickly if you’re not actively building it and even taking a single point of health damage can mean you’re not actively building it as the rubble will always prefer to heal you over increasing your rubble. Aside from that and the quality of life mentioned in the video, I’d say Atlas is in a really good place overall, but only because of the incarnon stat sticking. I agree that stat sticking in all varieties feels bad, but to remove that would require having separately moddable abilities for the psuedo exalted abilities as well as a base increase for all of the psuedo exalted abilities. Atlas being the most notable because his entire playstyle is centered around it, whereas other frames like Khora and Gara have other things going for them if their psuedo exalted is made meaningless.

    So i've been playing atlas in steel path for a couple of years now and i have a bunch of optimizations/minmaxing (or rather other options) for him.
    1: If you can get a combo of toxin + radiation on your melee it will help with literally any enemy that matters (As long as you run a melee exposure of any rank) since it will allow atlas to punch through any kind of armor and just delete corpus.
    2: Keep in mind that once you activate rubble heap, your energy needs go down significantly, so stay focused on keeping that thing active.
    3: If you have enough energy regen through other means such as energize and amber archon shards (i know they are shit, but it's enough), I HIGHLY suggest subsuming wrathful advance instead of nourish if you like big numbers. (I mean ~70 mil vs armored units w/o armor strip.)
    4: Don't play atlas vs infested. It's by far the worst faction for him and the most annoying to fight in general. (But at this point who fights infested anymore, amirite?)
    That's it, for the moment and if I remind myself of anything i'll edit this comment.
    Happy fisting everyone!

      I'd add to the list that Ceramic Dagger isn't necessarily the best stat-stick choice for this build, in particular with a Wrathful Advance setup. Incarnon Magistar may give a bit less CC in comparison, but adds +1 base crit damage multiplier, which is absolutely huge. Added bonus is that it's a hammer, so Magus Aggress will work for an additional 300% CD on top of this (and, yes, it does work with landslide), leaving Ceramic Dagger in the dust.

    i feel like atlas would be better if his 2 and 4 was a hold/tap and rumblers scaled based of of the current level of enemies, hold to summon rumblers and tap to become the rumbler. while a rumbler taking damage generates rubble(even when pawnching) while giving you a little extra damage resistance (scaling off strength). and his 2 would be a large wall of rock (that players can phase through but not enemies) instead of a tiny little baby gate of a wall when tapped and when held it creates a circular wall of rock where you're crosshair is to trap enemies or even create a defensive barrier around something.

    I will never get into playing Atlas until they decouple stat sticks. It just feels awful having to invest and equip a dead weight melee that is not even always an option with some game mode restrictions. On top of all the weird mechanical bits between the two separate weapon and ability like combo while in mission. So if you’re able to fix Atlas’ energy economy in other ways, I highly recommend to switch the Nourish Helminth out for Wrathful Advance Helminth to get your crit chance that way and to use the Dual Ichor for the incarnon stat stick. This will give Atlas great crit and status chance which, with the proper melee mods, will allow him to utilize damage over time or other status procs to help amplify his damage all the more. In casual play, I often run a gas/cold setup with melee exposure to add corrosive damage. This build is capable of mowing through the steel path circuit with ease (should you be lucky enough to get both atlas and this incarnon in the same rotation). However, if you’re taking him against high level corpus, I recommend using a pure toxin setup with the same melee arcane.

    Such an underrated frame. As a
    N Atkas main however, this build can be much better. Use the Rauta for its passive (stacks with ceramic) and switch bless for r5 avenger for those juicy crits, and switch steel charge for discipline so your 12x multi never moves

  • @MrLightZenith

    I got to agree that stat sticks should not be a thing. For me, it was very confusing to find out that stat sticks actually are a thing, and a critical thing too for dealing good damage. The mechanics are also puzzling what with some mods affecting the ability, and others not. It's not something you can find out from the game itself. I learned about it from the wiki.
    I reckon that the best way to get rid of stat sticks is to a) ban all of these bonusses from weapons affecting abilities. And b) turn each of these pseudo exalted weapons into true exalted weapons. Atlas' fists, Khora's Whip, Gara's Lash, if they were upgraded into exalted weapons people could mod them just the way they mod their stat sticks now. Except now it's a clear and obvious thing within the game itself.

  • @unlucky1307
    @unlucky1307 Před 2 měsíci

    Regarding using netracells as a test environment, I would say stick to steel path survival since that's basically a standard way to compare frames.
    Also relating to the hold 1, that would be nearly impossible for console players to function with, so DE probably wants to avoid that.

  • @JayDee-vq5rf
    @JayDee-vq5rf Před 2 měsíci

    About arcane avenger, why not both?
    I don't watch the in mission stuff because I trust you, and I know you just need an ad break. The real in mission test would have to be steelpath railjack to show us damage against actual armor. I just spawn lvl 295 sp gorsak heavys and those netracell cobra things, and some sendna trials bosses and those big green spiders from profittaker, and the adds that archons spawn with the belt of jars.

  • @nbassasin8092

    Just make his 1 go like Excals 1 and it would be fine, and make his 4th similair to Styanaxs but with spectral fists (not that he needs it but it would be cool). as for the dumb wall he has, make that one some passive buff that you turn on, or something that synergises with his rubble, and there, he is amazing
    Atlas is one of those frames that are like, the easiest fix of DEs life, because his concept is so easy to be as creative or as lazy as possible while still being fun and strong, plus he has 2 great abilities so that is always a good starting point

    I have replaced Gladiator Rush and Fever Strike for radiation since a lot of enemies are weak to it, and Helios with Diriga in order to instantly put viral on them so they take free double damages. But anyway, I don't play Atlas much because I feel like he has too much holes. Spamming 1 is fun for a few minutes but it's like I'm not playing a complete Warframe. His 2 should be either replaced or get a huge buff, and his 4's buddies are nothing but a taunt for now.

      @noahedenborg4221 maybe. I think for him, in particular, it needs to be a little more controlled (nautilus doesn't cast consistently and doesn't always cast when you need it). so either larva or one of the operator options would be better. His fist doesn't have the status chance to take full advantage of nourish or roar for that matter... and what else is he using energy for? Turning enemies to stone is about it...
