Yes but Buxtehude grew up as a Dane. He worked in Helsingborg - Danish until 1658 - and later in Helsingör (Alsinore). He was 31 when he became employed in Lübeck. He was more Danish than German.

Yet this version is beautiful, I prefer the other directed by Koopman too that is offered at the channel owned by another publisher. My preference is not based on tastes. I think that one is more vivid, more fluid, the dinamics are done wider and the different voices are notorious and more free to express the nuances the reigning musical style demanded at those times.
