    Does 'Per non far lieto' mean 'for nothing but joy'?
    If so, the title is entirely appropriate to the mood in which the piece was played.
    The two musicians (especially Ms Vicens) showed such obvious pleasure in the complimentary creative skills shown by each other, which made almost as much fun to watch as to hear.
    I chuckled with sheer delight at the look they shared at the finish.

    Medieval indeed! I can imagine geese and pigs wandering about, and peasants dancing, as the music plays on a muddy farmland. Absolutely great.

    @allcontakt Thanks alot for reply! Infact when i was reading the reply somehow i got the 'insight' that this type of sound producing pipe is not like those with reeds: on my highland pipes, before using goretex bag i had minor leakage and no matter how small it is felt and exhausts you. On the organ however, the flow of air is much more gentle or it may cause overblow (jump an octave --haha) so small leaking of air shouldn't be drastic like you say.

    @hallobaaaby I always had that doubt.... In fact air does come out, but in very small amounts compared to what goes to the pipes, so everything works. Different "mechanisms" or "actions" try to solve the air going out issue and they deal with it in various ways.

  • @RosssRoyce
    @RosssRoyce Před 14 lety

    Nice!!
    How does the key of the organ transmit the movement to the valve without creating an opening for the air to come out??

    hey David
    what is the name of the Remo drum you are playing and how can i buy one like it.
    could i find it on Remo web site. I do have a persian zarb, tombak, it seems this drum has a more superior sound quality than a tombak.

  • @nadareg

    Excellent, excellent!

      The drum is a Remo "djembe" but Mr. Kuckhermann is playing it using a "tombak" technique, in which he is studied.

  • @courteouselk
    @courteouselk Před 15 lety

    It's Remo's djembe.
    Not precisely a "frame" drum.
