Interesting fact: Living through the COVID pandemic has given sociologists a new perspective on the Roaring 20s. It was generally believed that the excesses of that Era were the result of WWI. But seeing how society was reacting to the pandemic made them rethink the impact of the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic (as more impact full than the war).

Joe talking about time going slow or fast is so relatable. I also have those days laying in bed in the morning sometimes it goes fast and sometime it goes slow. Joe you are not crazy or we both are.

America not having well made tailored suits makes complete sense to me because America, especially these days, favor quantity over quality, and that goes for food as well. I swear too many Americans are impatient, and I'm speaking as an American myself. They don't like to wait too long for something. So that's why I think American brands just mass produce everything they make and the quality of those things suffers for it.

The best commercial I've ever seen has to be the Baja California Starburst commercial. It has it all mariachis playing, giant teeth, drama, and of course starbursts. As a Mexican man I highly approve of this commercial 😂
I experience the time thing all the time. Somedays are slow and some are long. I always feel like where did the time go. No matter if I am busy or having an easy day.

Time is definitely distorted for the last 4 to 6 years. And so many life-altering events happened in my life during the last four years and I almost feel numb to it because of everything going on with the pandemic. It's like nothing else I have experienced in my 51 years of life. It makes no sense in my brain.

wow I'm glad you mentioned Jollibee commercials.. in the Philippines, even Mc Donald's commercials are like Hallmark movies- also emotional because they have to compete with Jollibee since Filipinos love to eat at Jollibee more for the nostalgia. We ate fried chicken with the best gravy and rice as a kid until we're adults.
I've really enjoyed the ReactCAST so far! I'm loving getting a more in depth look at the people who make me laugh every day. I love the behind the scenes skinny and all the games. I think if Placky wasn't 16 he might know more old stuff. ;) I'm a good bit older than your demographic, 55, but I've learned a lot about music and pop culture because of the React channels! Yes there are tunnel in Disneyland. We got a guy at work that worked for Disneyland and he did confirm they exist.
I always thought the noid was a manifestation of annoyance (being annoyed or "a noid") at bad delivery (late delivery, cold food, wrong toppings, damaged pizza, rude delivery person). Stating that Domino's does it better. Go figure
Adding a comment that Joe is not crazy about the time thing. Having slow day today myself. Closed my eyes when I woke up at 4am and it felt forever to get to 5am.
I am with Joe on the timing things but Joe and Nicole, I have heard of Newsies I have never watched it and I am over 40, not sure it was big in the UK even though I am based in Canada now.
"I can't believe it's already [insert time]." then it's all... "I can't believe it's not even [insert time]." So yes, Mr. Joe, I totally get it. Oh also, the Taster's Choice commercials with Anthony Stewart Head.

I've been following react for years and enjoy that you brought back some of the original reactors. I do enjoy the new channels but I do miss some of the old stuff. You guys used to react to games where elders played the games or like when they teens played the full games, the last of us. I think like do an episode of not just guess the old game but see these gamers play these old games. Since you can get the old game systems, atari, sega, Nintendo etc. I think that would be a great react show.

I’m over 30 (38) and haven’t seen that movie yet. My favorite commercial(s): KIAs holiday one from a few years ago or so that had a location decked out in lights and other Christmas decorations to a popular holiday song (forgot song used), Cheerios’ holiday commercial with the baby and grandma talking about being far from each other and the Walmart holiday commercial where they did Jingle Bells (I think) using the cashier assistance lights. All are favorites
I love the Progressive car insurance commercials with Dr. Rick helping first time homeowners who are turning into their parents.
I totally get and agree with what Joe is talking about when it comes to a distorting perception of time passing. I've had several similar experiences myself when it comes to thinking or feeling like several hours have passed and then you look at a clock and it's only been a few minutes. It's a completely common phenomena that everybody experiences actually, at some point or antoher, to some degree or another, though depending on person to person, some may not really ever notice or really be conscious of it, or otherwise just disregard it. Some opinions and theories suggest that such distorted perceptions of time passing is connected or otherwise may be related to the sensation of Deja Vu🙅🤷🤔(?)-😁.
One of the most common causes of this is when either highly focused on something, or not having anything to occupy your attention, and/or when bored, or two, or all three of them. Or when it feels like it's only been a few minutes when several hours have passed, which typically occurs when again being highly focused on something, and/or preoccupied with/by a physical activity, and/or enjoying said preoccupation(s). That happens to me all the time when I'm playing video games or really into whatever writing project I'm working on at the time.
The PASSAGE of Time is objective, in terms of physics, at least as we currently understand and define it, but otherwise "time" is just an overall innocuous and benign form of measurement that we invented and only makes sense and applies to us and how, and why, and what we use it for, (i.e. the objective flow of time is a force we don't yet quite know what it is, how it works, or fully understand yet, while the measurement of time is just a subjective relative invention). But the perception of time is highly to extremely subjective, typically entirely involuntarily so, which therefore can cause a perceptional parallax. Great consequential side topic.

One of the worst ones for me was the misuse of #whyIstayed. The hashtag was created as a way to answer why victims of domestic violence choose to stay in unsafe relationships. DiGiornio used the hashtag and wrote "You had pizza". Understandably, that didn't go over too well.

Biggest brand mistake that comes to mind instantly is when DiGiornos advertised their pizza under a hashtag discussing domestic violence :l
I feel the time thing is due to the fact that , you sleep in and have to rush so it puts you behind the 8 Ball and rushing to catch up all day.
where as when you wake up normally everything runs at your normal pace, or so it seems.

Hey Joe, I heard your description on the feel of time fluctuating and I have to say I am the same as you. Not crazy though, I believe its merely our perception of times "flow" changes based on our neurochemical balance. But that's just my theory.
