As a guy who loves to cook, you definitely don't have to follow a recipe to the letter. There's always room for experimentation. My mom did that all the time when I was growing up, and learning from her, I quickly found out that being a cook/chef can be a creative outlet too. Add to that, I'm the son of creative people, so creativity flows within us, you could say.

Sorry slightly offended at the “all cake is manipulative” i bake my kids cake, or buy when I am too tired, but it’s always an expression of love with no strings attached. That’s what unconditional love is.
I'm learning from you as an European. Hint: Mostly I make a pesto from all fresh ingredients - that doesn't feel heavy and has close to no acid - start with crushing Pecan (or other nuts) and Basilicum leaves, add oil and cheese later (I always calibrate with the kind of noodle what I use, industry noodles only from DeCecco or RANA).

I've heard of Tanpopo, never seen it though. One food-heavy movie that I personally love is Chocolat. If you have a sweet tooth, this movie will make you hungry for sweets. Plus, as an added bonus, it co-stars Johnny Depp. You can't go wrong with Johnny Depp, right?

I felt a sharp pang when that happened used to drink surge and fruitopia all the time as a teenager and was able to find surge in the 16oz cans a few years back and bought them regularly for a bit until they disappeared again
Depending on how it's prepared, liver can be either really good, or really bad. Personally, I have not tasted bad-tasting liver, so I guess I've been fortunate.

With being an editor, as a content creator myself, learning how to edit is an invaluable tool, especially for CZcamsrs. It's all a juggling act. You have to decide what to leave in and what to cut out. Personally for me, I have the benefit and basic knowledge of how to edit because I took Media Arts classes when I was in college years ago. Learning how to edit specifically in Final Cut and Photoshop has been invaluable for me as content creator now. For CZcams, just having a basic knowledge of how to edit is enough. You don't have to get fancy with your editing. Same thing with the thumbnails. They can be basic and get the point across enough, or they can be very eye-catching depending on how you edit tthem.
