Hello Carol, it actually depends on the season. A good rule of thumb is to make sure that the soil is very dry before watering again. Hi! I planted some of my hydroponic plants in soil. There is really no strict rule with how high the soil should be. I just make sure to leave at least an inch of space from the brim for watering. I’m not too sure why they don’t show the yellow stripes, too. It’s been puzzling me, too. I wish I know the answer to that. As for the duration of each stages, I’d say months and months. 😅 It takes a lot of patience and faith, but it pays off. It’s been awhile, so I’m not sure about the season, but I would propagate regardless of the season. At least, out here in California. I also just use tap and no liquid fertilizers, too. My apologies to both of you. I’m still trying to take down thousands of comments from as far back as two years ago that sometimes I forget to squeeze the apologies. Hi! Once the bud have sprouted, it takes about three days to one to two weeks for each of those stages. It’s the ‘waiting for the bud to show’ that takes months. Once the bud starts to show, that stages goes really fast. Thank you for asking. I really appreciate it. More blessings to you! ❤️🙏🌈
