I'm a big fan of your voice, and this extended cover came at the perfect time. I was listening to your shorter cut a lot.
So basically, this whole opening song is a foreshadow to Loid, Yor, and Anya revealing their secrets at the end of the series and live happily as a true family.
The end credits is basically in Anyaâs perspective.

I love how this song is Anya's perspective and I love how you captured that perfectly, especially the fact that she really sees Loid as the one who took her out of that orphanage and never gave her back after the kidnapping incident. And now, she has Yor as her mom too!
This really makes me happy seeing how much this song and my cover can strike a chord with you! Initially I was interpreting and writing the English lyrics in the perspective of Loid, but then halfway through I realized it could easily apply to all of them.
It's really beautiful how well it works from all their POV's and it's also why I wanted to keep some parts just vague enough so that you each line can relate to each character! But thank you for your insight, I really love that you were able to pick apart the lyrics and apply it to Anya

I'm leaving an additional comment on this video. Around this time one year this post my dad had passed away. Around this time the video was posted I knew my dad wasn't okay or healthy but I didn't pry. He didn't tell he what was wrong or why he seemed weaker than normal. This song was essentially my mindset, I wanted more time with him. To hold my hand, to ask him about dinner even though he'd jus tell me to ask mom (now a widow). He was my rock I wanted nothing more to spend more time with him to tell him about my day, but more important things were going on. I said it then, I will say it now...I get it now.
Edit: My dad was in his 40's-50's when I was born, it just felt like all the things we should have done there wasn't time for. I miss him more than I can say before I'm even 30.

Not only do I want to keep the lyrics as close to the original meaing as possible, I also want them to work in English to where it could stand alone like it was always an English song~ đ
