Group 4: I watch a lot of tarot reading but I don't usually comment on those. But this message stuck me. From last few days, I feel there's a hollow empitness inside me. I have everything, just like an overachiever. But still I feel something is missing. I am unhappy. I feel envious of people who don't care about proving. On the other hand, I want to prove a point. I want to succeed but why? I don't have an answer for it. There's occasionally splash of spark of happiness in my life but that goes and comes and comes. I am not contend with myself. There's no true happiness. I know that I am pretending to be someone I am. But I am unaware of the person I am. So how am I supposed to find my lost self again. I am turning 20 years old just in 14 days and I have achieved more than what my age group people do. I am tired, that's what I realised after hearing this reading. I don't take pressure well, I am talking about my mental state. From last few weeks, I kept on taking pressures, stress and added on responsibilties and running behind everything. group 1, thanks this resonated but why is it so popular now to say “you need to be fine on your own and not need anyone else” i don’t know if it’s because it’s cool to act like lone wolves or whatever but we as humans are so not wired this way. maybe this message wasn’t for me. i have no friends, family or community. yeah of course i need someone else. we’re all social creatures. it’s so frustrating to here that I need to be okay on my own as if loneliness isn’t extremely detrimental to one’s health.
I'm sorry if that's how you understood it, I probably didn't express myself right. I agree, we all do need connection and i wish you to meet the people who will spark your heart. What I meant was that, although we need connection as human beings, no amount of external connections will ever replace the sense of connection someone feels within. Connection is a human need and the most reliable way to meet it isn't always through the outsourcing of it. Hope this helps

I guess I got triggered because I think a lot of tarot readers assume their viewers are all clingy anxious people who don’t know the true meaning of independence. and it irritates me lol when i’m hearing someone tell me how it important it is to “love myself” when all I want is love outside of myself.
No amount of self love can ever replace external love just as the opposite. I also wonder if anyone can truly love themselves 100% of the time without feeling inadequate or lonely. I wonder if this is now another unrealistic goal and reality that others have been forcing people to strive towards. So when you feel “sad and lonely” it’s because you haven’t done the inner work and loved yourself enough. When really it could all be , you need a support system.
