As someone who lives in Wisconsin the log cabin just fits the down town Dells. Yeah you got all the water parks and stuff but go past all that and the Dells just hit different
I used to go to one in NH and it was ski theme so all the seats were actually just the things u ride up the mountain in and they hanged from the ceiling
I have a lot of great memories of the first one as my dad would take me there to the museum all the time (about 15 years ago) after his doctor appointments in Downey and bought me toys which they would sell there in bundles.

Cabin McDonald’s is one of my childhood core memories… and that’s coming from someone whose lived in Wisconsin and Utah back-and-forth due to divorced parents💪
@@lisadennis5861 In a higher end neighborhood somewhere in Independence. I drive for my job and I was working around there, my route took me right by it. There's also some strange building with like.. a smoothie place and Dairy Queen in it I think? Right down the road from it anyway. But it was pretty weird to see!
There used to be really cool one in the middle of the river walk in Naperville. I think it's just a local cafe now, but you had to walk to get to it. They're also used to be one in the middle of the big toll lanes at the Chicago skyway It was so cool. There is still one on the Oasis rest stops in Chicagoland, and the rock n roll McDonald's was so cool! I guess in Chicago we had a lot of non-standard McDonald's because it's from there?
We have a maccas here that’s in an old coach stop building from back when people still used horse & carriage to get around. They painted it a weird green colour so it looks weird but the building is still beautiful on the outside. Inside it just looks like any other McDonald’s.
Fun fact up until a few years ago the 1 in Downey didn’t have a Drive through. It was walk up only. They added the drive-through after they got money from the movie. Because they used that location to film some of the scenes.

The McDonald’s in New Hyde Park, NY is, imo, much more interesting than the second one in the vid. It was an old farmhouse built in 1795 that was due to be demolished by McDonald’s during the 80s until local residents petitioned to save it. Additional fun fact: There is also another McDonald’s built into a 150 year old home in Freeport, Maine with a largely homey aesthetic inside. It also serves lobster rolls.
Wisconsin dells is actually an incredible place. It’s like the whole town is an amusement park, there are at least two giant water parks there (including the nation’s biggest) and nearly every restaurant we went to had some sort of arcade. They have a bunch of really cool places like a Ripley’s Believe it or not Museum and a place called Wizard Quest that I really recommend.
Another unique McDonald’s location is in Freeport,Maine. Due to local restrictions, they couldn’t build a standard restaurant and converted a local home
Here in Hawaii in Manoa Valley just past the University of Hawaii, there's a McDonald's still sporting the late 90's/early 2000's livery that has a "robot" drive thru. They just put your order on a conveyor belt for the driveway that's the furthest away from the actual pick up window.
At the Fort Worth location it’s actually more than just a conveyor belt there’s machines on the inside that people have to manage that help with the whole process easier and faster. It is actually one of a kind.
