I love how real the first girl kept it. Money can buy happiness, but that's because it buys security. Many people today are living paycheck to paycheck and needing to worry about food or housing. Once that's eliminated, you're free to focus on things that actually make you happy. Also, your sweater story is so sweet! I hope whoever did that for you is thriving and has a wonderful life. And I can't not give props to the lady in red who looked FABULOUS! What a great way to end the video! ✨✨
Knowing the wonderful girls in my class, she probably is thriving ❤️. I think it’s very much like what Brock and Lori said, money alleviates problems such as security, but after that, things like relationship issues, self esteem, a terminal illness- that can’t always be fixed with money, so does it really buy happiness at the end?
@@CynicalDuchess To me it's always been obvious that money doesn't automatically buy happiness and thus I don't get why people keep either asking the question or harping on it. To me that question is irrelevant. Money can buy security. Period. Plus, happiness comes from within anyhow.
Greetings from Los Angeles
My father use to tell me, “ you still have problems when you have money, but it’s a better class of problems”. He grew up during the depression. I think what he meant was ,if you have money you have a cushion and it’s easier to solve problems when you have disposable income.
Wow. This is beautiful. The story about the school sweater touched my heart beyond anything.
The girls in my class are the reason why I’m proud to be Jewish.
You made me skip adds just see what you were talking about! Amazing, just wish wish wish you knew who it was ❤
The story of the sweater was so heartwarming 🫶🫶
Hehe
I saw Cassandra and I was like OMG? I followed her a lot during quarantine and no wonder I enjoy your content too you women are both amazing people to watch! As someone from OC, content like this motivates me to hopefully make the move to LA one day like you guys!
I love the perspective of- give what you can, whether it’s time or money! And the sweater store omg!! ❤
I loved that perspective too, totally
Changed the way I think!
The story about finding the sweater in your locker was so cute.
One of my favorite stories 😊
Loved the story of your high school sweater
Kindness really goes a long way
I relate to your story and I think this is one of your best! My father laid the floor for the Pentagon and my mother is retiring from the same job after 30 years. My dad made a lot of money, but had tax issues and bad health. I currently live in one of the most known neighborhoods in my town, yet, I probably live in the smallest house (which I like, because I'm never afraid of getting broken into and the house went up a third of its value in 3 years), but I'm constantly telling people I'm poor and yet the numbers say I'm successful, so it's an awkward place to live and be, and yet, I love it. Great job on this video!
Thank you so much! Life is funny with all its nuance, isn’t it
This was really well done- I enjoyed seeing the communities through your personal perspective and the sweater story was special
Thanks for sharing
Keep it up :)
AS A MUSLIM WOMAN, THE “i dont touch men” WAS SO REAL😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I'm not Muslim and I don't touch men either except my family if course😂😂😂
I really liked the places you visited, the people's answers, and the outfits. But without a doubt the best things were the high school and the sweater story. so moving.
It’s one of the best stories from my teen years
I swear vlogging in public is like going to the gym the longer you take time off vlogging in public the harder it is butttt its also seems to have muscle memory seeing how you went out and interviewed all those people!! So proud of you
This is so good!! Love your energy 💗
the end got me 🥹 such a fun watch! keep it up
The price of Totem boots she was wearing at 3:20 are over a thousand dollars, some things are cheap or moderate prices on most of these pieces then coupled with some super expensive accessories or shoes
You looked great in the silk dress, and I know you would never trade your first born for it anyway! Having lived in LA , and traversed all these neighborhoods sometimes as a runner,Attest to the beautiful stores and great looking peeps but always realizing how rich I was to be the one running.. The Malibu trailer park I’d heard of never been ...oh I love Hancock Park
This video is so well done! Keep it up!
Thank you!
It's nice to see you uploading videos of outfits again!
It’s gonna be a mix!
i absolutely love la/hollywood. the looks of it is obviously not pleasing, but their food and people are amazing!!!
I love LA people too ❤️
@@CynicalDuchess yeah! i’m very close to la, so i go there time to time
It's nice to see that people with money remain primarily people. Unfortunately, in my country, the more money people have, the more unreasonable show-offs. Not at all, but at the bulk.
Also love what that person said about giving either with your checkbook or your time
That woman changed my
Perspective on a lot of things with that one sentence
I didn't check my CZcams for a while and then started to unsubscribe from the channels I don't watch videos from, but I literally stopped on your channel...Keep going I love your videos. they are so inspiring and mood-maker:)
Loved this video!!
Tank u!!
I got soooo much positive fashion energy just in 10 minutes!
☺️☺️
Girl, i lived in California for 33 years and I can tell you, people live in their workout clothes!😂😂😂😂
What a lovely sweater story filled with kindness.
This video was soooo good! Also, God bless Diane Morton!
8:45 is that cassandra Bankson❓️😊
Yes!!
This is my favorite vid yet.
Ayyy 😆
I have just found your channel from your Berlin video, wishing you the utmost abundance, success and happiness. Subscribed and have turned on notifications.
I remember i went to the hills with my homie and this one guy pulled up to us and with these exacts words "are you supposed to be here?" You know i was just tryna see a view of the city in which i told him so agian he said "how long are you gonna be here" so I told him again that i just wanted to see a view of LA since I rarely get the opportunity to go to the hills
That actually happened to my dad and my sister. The guys exact words were “this ain’t a party, this is private property” ah well.
I used to live in the LA area and hated it. HATED IT. (San Diego? I loved living there. LA? Sorry, I know that's your hometown, but I hated it.) Except for 2 things I did really like a lot: the big Kinokuniya bookstore in Little Tokyo and.... visiting Pacific Palisades! I know Pacific Palisades is a $$$$$$$ place, but it always had such an open, airy, sunshiny, beautiful, slightly quirky vibe. I was never uncomfortable spending time there even though I didn't have money.
HAHA don’t worry, LA isn’t always my favorite place. Little Tokyo is also amazing! And yes, Palisades had some of the loveliest people, I’m so happy that’s the vibe the place gives off, so welcome
The sweather story 🥺❤️
I know
she's baaack, nice
Guess whose back 👀 back again 👀
What Are People Wearing in LA's RICHEST Neighborhoods | Quiet Luxury\
❤❤❤😂❤ great vid
Argh I love the sweater story. I grew up super poor working in swap meets. I will hold the dream of buying that house for you. Let’s go get you some brand deals. ❤
The lady in red was my favorite
Money can give you a nicer form of misery.
The only people walking on the streets of OC or LA are the hired help. Not a good sample of people to judge for clothes.
Try it again with a woman who looks like Roseanne Barr asking the questions and see how keen people are to talk to your camera. That's not restricted to CA or even the US - we are a youth-obsessed culture here in the West. It is what it is - thanks for the vid.
Your vedio very interesting
Lady rich have gold frame glasses and gold watches, shoes are prada. I'm not sure all of these people are really rich, Zara's are not a designer clothes

You guys match each other's energy. You guys could pass off as sisters!
IM FIRST WHAT
HELLOO!!
You shouldn't down yourself. You looked great.

Lol yah, the subs can make funny spelling choices, definitely missed that one lol
I need to understand why you don’t touch men? Explain please 🙏
I'm an Orthodox Jew, we don't touch the opposite sex unless its my dad or brother :)
Thank you. 😊 I love it, best thing I’ve heard all day.
a lot of them have Chanel bags which cost about $5000, but they wear Zara clothes which cost about $50. That doesn't make a lot of sense.
I don’t miss a day a week @ *amzrepo* This show..
