Daechwita is the formal music that was played to announce the emperor or important dignitaries in Korea. Fun fact he's the only Korean rapper who got permission to use it in a song. Also Suga is BTS, Agust D is Savage! This is just part 2 of the trilogy of songs that he connected together to tell his story. Part 1 is Amygdala, pt 2 is Daechwita, and part 3 is Haegum. The watch order Yoongi suggested is: Daechwita, then Haegeum and lastly Amygdala.
Also, Suga, aka Agust D, real name is Min Yoongi and he is actually descended from Korean royalty. The Min clan is one of the respected royal clan in Korean history and I believe there were at least 4 empresses in Yoongi’s ancestry, including, the last Korean empress. So this may be a factor in why Yoongi was given permission to use the music. Side note, two other BTS members Jin & V also have royal ancestry, but Yoongi’s clan was one of the top tier level.
@@carries356 Sadly, that’s a myth. Yoongi may be distantly related to the Empress Myeongseong but he isn’t descended from her. Also, she married the king, she wasn’t born royal. The Min were high level administrators and nobility in the Joseon period. The Min clan is currently around 160,000 strong.
The Joseon royal family name is Yi. Yoongi is not descended from a branch of that family.
A similar caveat applies to V. He is said to be descended from a king of Silla, but that kingdom ended more than a thousand years ago. Charlemagne ruled in Europe at about the same time as Silla ended and conservative estimates are that his descendants number more than 100 million. That’s just the way genetics works.

Every BTS member is fire in their musicality. but Agust D has songs where he wrote, composed and produced it all. also he came up with the concept in the video after this Haegeum which is part of a trilogy. hes a bad ass music producer. and has helped many people battle mental health issues. hes amazing. Have you watched the guide to the bangtan seven by Taylor Mari yet. if not you'd be in for a treat and learn a lot about these guys. also if you havent seen it do it as a reaction. its a long video but Armys dont mind long videos as long as the reactors intent is genuine, they pause when talking so it shows interest and if they have questions they ask us lol.

Yes, Suga's music is different than the rest although each of the boys offering whatever type of music you preffered.
Suga's music is more darker, so aggressive specially disstrack songs of his but that's what makes him special and unique of his own too. His bluntness and swaggy type of rap but also true and honest and laying the facts. He is not a no nom- sense guy , he doesnt beat around the bush but he is direct and straightforward.
Suga's music is all written, composed, songwrites, lyrics and beats are all created by Suga or Agust D himself.BTS got a lot of hates and was looked down during their early career and Suga is a real fighter when it's necessary thru his music. Suga is a genius and a brilliant musician.
He can show you his vulnerability but he can be very blunt when he feel like he and his BTS brothers will be disrespected. They are all descent , hardworking boys and even they came from humble beginning and they got all the fames and money in the world now but they are still the most down to earth and very kind , descent human being i know in all the celebrities worldwide!

You should check out the explanation video for this. Suga is a lyrical genius. He wove all kinds of stuff into this song and video. BTS rap line received a lot of hate from other rappers in South Korea because they were in a KPOP group. These things were very hurtful coming from their peers and fellow rappers. BUT! BTS broke the mold and proved that they could DO IT ALL and do it well.

Daechwita is the first of a trilogy! Since you started with this, why not complete the trilogy? The next one is Haegeum and the last is Amygdala. The first two reflect the emotions of Yoongi in his early idol years, which he expresses as Agust D (the scar across the eye connects all 3 songs). The last one depicts what Yoongi actually went through in his life and is actually like a prequel as it explains the scar across the eye.

*Meanings for the song titles*
*Daechwita* - is a genre of Korean traditional music consisting of military music played by wind and percussion instruments, generally performed while the ARMY is marching or as a static performance usually when the King is arriving. (Suga aka Agust D meant the BTS ARMY to be implied.)
*Haegeum* - has two meanings. The first, it's a traditional Korean string instrument, resembling a vertical fiddle with two strings, usually played at Royal Court. Also, it means to lift a ban, or release what is forbidden.
*Amygdala* - is an almond shaped part of our brain which is commonly thought to form the core of a neural system for processing fearful and threatening stimuli, including detection of threat and activation of our fight or flight response. The amygdala helps to store memories of events and emotions so that an individual may be able to recognize similar events in the future.

It was clear that you didn't read 98% of the lyrics and I get it the the visuals of the music were distracting you. I would suggest you look up the lyrics for this and read them however you will enjoy how much he was spitting in this song.

I just wanted to include that Agust D is the persona which allowed Suga/Yoongi to express all the emotions of anger, disappointment, betrayal, fears and personal pain & trauma he experienced while trying to pursue his dream, as a member of BTS but also in his personal life. He is called the “Savage King” for a reason, but not in the way where he’s show-boating or just saying sh*t to make himself seem more tough, but nothing gets him more anger than when he sees others dissing or hurting his BTS members or their team. Suga and RM both came from Korean underground rapping and they took a lot of hits because they were members of an idol group, so check out Agust D from his 1st mixtape, there’s an official video out to hear his response to that chatter. The thing is he & BTS have receipts for what they talk about and like life and anyone’s journey, some get stuck in moments & allow those emotions to fuel the fire, but now in 2023, he has let go of a lot of that anger & trauma, I’m gonna assume that by no means he won’t be savage when he needs to cuz people & the world can be vicious, but I think music really allowed him to face his weaknesses, fears, depression, anxiety and anger which over the years helped him to heal. It should be noted that mental health is Korea is not an issue that is openly embraced and Agust D talks about his own struggle, which is also what makes BTS different from K-pop genre in general because their music addressed real issues which made it relatable to the listeners. It should be noted that Yoongi is not against people using medicine for mental illnesses, daechitwa has a line saying he’s not a weak pill popper, he means those who take pills in order to get into that “creative” state or think pills make their music better.
The last song in this 3 song trilogy is Amygdala, is more his personal story and you should look up at least the meaning of the song titles cuz that helps to understanding the lyrics better and that white door is significant. Ok, think that’s all I will say without spoiling it too much. Oh, in this video, the two guys who started fighting each other as Agust D walked by are two BTS members, Jin & Jungkook. I think another member, JHope may have been in the scene with the car, wearing a bucket hat but that wasn’t confirmed. Ok, great reaction cuz it was fun watching you. Take care 💜🫶🏼💜

Ok, so I suggest you check out the rappers next, there are 3 of them: RM, Suga, and J-Hope. RM is the lead rapper and overall leader of the group, he's the only one that can speak English fluenly. Suga also goes by Agust D when he does his solo music, and it's also kind of his alter ego name as well. J-Hope is not only a rapper but he's also the lead dancer of BTS. Here are some recommendations of some music videos/tracks you should listen to:
Suga/Agust D: Daechwita, Haegeum, Amygdala (in that order, it's a trilogy and tells a story), Agust D (self titled track), and Give it to Me. All those have music videos, but also listen to the songs D-Day, Huh?!, and SDL, there's no music video for those ones, but they're really good.
RM: Joke (watch the music video with the English translation!), Monster (no music video but really good), Do You, Persona (under BTS but it's solely him on the track), Still Life with Anderson Paak, Wildflower, and Closer (no music video)
J-Hope: Arson, More, Airplane, On The Street with J Cole, Ego, 1 Verse, Base Line, and HangSang (the last 3 don't have music videos but they're really good).

Who does video's like this? AgustD/BTS. Who was fighting in the video? Kim SeokJin & Jeon Jungkook of BTS. Fighting ='s No Whack! Yes BTS are nice but AgustD/BTS has been taking heads for years. Nobody saw them coming. Oh, and those poppy songs weren't written by them. Their songs are usually more heart break and life issues. He's a king, he's a boss and always bring a gun to a sword fight.

This Has to do with North Korea there is no war treaty signed the war is still active even though there is a cease-fire temporarily and it has been for the past 70 years!
