- We wanted to install folding storm impact doors in our patio but didn't like the price or the style of the styles available. So, we made our own. This video shows the entire process from start to finish of how we made and installed the doors.
We started the project about 2 weeks before Thanks Giving and finished just before Christmas. It consists of two sets of three doors. Total cost was around $3,000. - Jak na to + styl
Dude, when I saw prices on these things I knew I'd rather spend a year learning to make this than pay. Awesome job here! :D
Andy that's incredible work. The only problem is that I can't show this video to my wife as she's going to ask me why I can't build anything with a homemade tablesaw and router? And, now I want a steak for dinner!
Go for it mum! :D Nice project thanks for sharing
Precioso 👏👏👏👏👏

THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!!🤩
Looks great! What track system did you use?
👏
This is amazing. I’m running into the same issue. Do you have any more videos on how you did the hardware and casement? Does it have weather stripping?
Hi Marcus I had a tough time getting the exact hardware used by the pros so I got around it by using this this from Amazon. Check this out! a.co/d/a4jeUVZ. If you look on the video at 8:15. Between the first and second doors from left to right there is a single 2x4 that is mounted to the roller on the top and I used some thing like this for the bottom. www.homedepot.com/p/Barton-Kramer-Sliding-Closet-Mirror-Door-Roller-Assembly-542/100142823. I used this for the weather stripping between the doors. Check this out! a.co/d/78LuPzu. I hope this helps.
AWESOME! How do you make your table saw "fence" parallel to your blade? I see you used a threaded rod as a guide for the bottom but what did you use as the guide track?
Nice Job! I'm attempting to do this for a sunroom. I was thinking of the bottom roller like you used but what did you use for the bottom track?

Hey Andy how did you build your track assembly for doors to slide on? Or where did you get them? Thanks!
may i know where you get the kit track and what type and size of wood you use. thanks
Is there a track in the bottom and top?
where did you get the floor track for the doors to slide?
Do you have a supplies/materials list or measurements perhaps? I've been looking into building some for my parents house, with help
What type of track did you use? Do I have this correct, the 2x4 connects doors 1&2 with hinges, and the 2x4 is connected to a track?
Thank you for this video I want to do the same at my home!!! Curious how big did you make your doors and could I used premade doors in your opinion?
There are two sets of three doors. One set is 23”. The other is 32”. Both are standard height, 80”. Premade doors should be OK. as long as they meet your needs. Good luck!
Thank you
Do you have any problem with water coming into the house ? Also what type of wood did you use and how to treat it for exterior use? Thank you
You skipped the most important step I’d like to learn how to install the sliding hardware. Do you have any other video?
What hardware did you use on the top?
what slides did u use?
😂❤😢
are they on a runner at the top of the doors?
Yes. Top and bottom. But not on the door. On single 2x4 between the first and second doors. See video at 8:15.
Beef. It's what's for dinner.
Inshallah Brother 🙏🙏🙏🙏
bro chill you only needed 6 wooden planks
cuh we up🥶🥶🔥🔥🔥
