Very few football players are ever lucky enough to play a snap in the NFL, but even fewer can say that they hold a spot in the NFL record books. Most of the time NFL records are celebrated, an accomplishment that a player can wear like a badge of honor. But for an unlucky few, they hold a record for all the wrong reasons. Today, we've compiled some records that will make you laugh, well… unless you're a fan of the player or team then they may make you cry. Nonetheless, here are the most embarrassing records in NFL history.

Favre was jamies Winston who just played longer..he threw 6 ints in a playoff game against the rams..he has 6 seasons where he either threw as many ints as TD's or more ints as TDs..he also has over 100 fumbles..hell his first career pass attempt was a pick 6... Favre was great but man did he cost his teams championships and wins😂

Packers fan here, if I'm being honest, the Bears have one of, if not the best defense in the NFL. But defense doesn't matter if your offense only scores three points like they did against the Rams last Monday. If the Bears want to have a legit chance to win the super bowl, they need a decent quarterback.

You can't blame the Buccaneers for their first two seasons of existence of all of those losses. They had all rookie starters, no free agency or salary cap, they played in a era of when football was tougher and less rules to protect the QB and hitting a defenseless receiver was a aloud.

Favre's late interception in the NFC Championship game proved that there still are new and unusually cruel ways to punish Vikings fans. It's easy to be a fan of a winning team, but you have to admire the staying power of those who have cheered on the Detroit Lions and other break your heart, no championship teams for so many years. Those are true fans, because there has not been a bandwagon to get on.

    • @BrownBomber92181

That still has to be the worst interception the thrown by an all time great QB that I have ever seen. Especially considering the stakes and the situation they were in. Game was tied with just under 20 seconds I believe, and they were in range for a long field goal, 56 or so yards, and he was rolling right, about 15-20 yards of open field and the sideline, and for some reason he turns across his body and throws the ball of for grabs. Even as bad as Favre could be at times, I never thought he would do that

I think Brett Favre's interception record has more to do with his tenure than his actual ability as a QB. He thought that he could've made any throw on the field because he basically could, and every so often he wouldn't. He just did that for 20 seasons.
If you throw one interception per game and play for one season, you will have 16 interceptions, but if you play 20 seasons, you will have 320 interceptions. You're clearly better than the guy that lasted one season because you played for 20, but your interception number is still higher.

In Peterman's defense, two of his interceptions hit his receivers accurately, his receivers bobbling the ball was the only reason they were picked. And two of his interceptions he was hit while or just after making the pass, arguably he should have just taken the sack but the Bills had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL that year, something that Josh Allen had to inherent in his rookie year. It was still a bad game, but the rest of the Bill's offense didn't do much to help make him look good.
