I know everyone already knew the scores before this was put up... but you don't help your channel by hyping up Ricky so much. Dogging Paul so much... and then hyping Isaac more than Gannon... I mean you guys both sat there and simped on Ricky when he DIDN'T EVEN GET TOP 10 IN WORLD'S! You guys definitely give away the outcomes of your videos by your openers...

Have you noticed how much faster Gannon is putting now? It's like he has so much respect for the rules of the sport and his fellow competitors he made the nessessary adjustments to speed up his putting routine. Can you think of anyone who hasn't?
I feel like it shows he learns fast. Him being 17 and already finishing the season in the top 4 is incredible and I'm here for it!

I think disc golf is sooooo underrated just because the start up cost to learn to play is lower than any other sport I ever seen. Love to see it grow more and more

16:26 I love how thrilled Jeremy sounds when he's talking about Ricky's throw even though he has seen it live.
That through the tree shot filming Ricky set up his shot on hole 8 really shows the artistry involved when it comes to Jomez coverage. Increases the production value so much! Some of the wide shots they do with the crowds of spectators behind the players reminds me of a Kurosawa film.

Weird watching the semis and this back to back. It's plays like a different course with these guys, and the others are world class too.
"As time goes on, this is going to become the most important tournament" - is such an excellent self-fulfilling prophecy. The players have the power to determine which events matter more than others, and that can evolve as time goes on. I also think the tournament aspect could bring in a lot of casual fans who appreciate the drama of that format. Great future for this sport!

Gannon will be the best in the world, but if he got into the gym and added 25-35lbs of muscle, heâd revolutionize the entire game. Like Tiger did in golf. Kid is incredible.
Sincere question, what does he need extra muscle for? Doesn't help you throw a disc farther or with more accuracy.

@@mattburton4392 theoretically more weight adds distance. Although I'm not sure the rationale here, tbh. Maybe the idea is to get distance on par with players like Garrett Gurthie, then with Gannon's short game it adds up. But Anthony Barela has a massive arm without being "big."

This tournament format is slightly confusing. Is there a graphic/breakdown of what happens. Is there only 4 remaining now? Or was there pre qualification for this final and 4 from the semis were added? Making 8 remaining?
Top 4 moved forward every roundâŠbut certain players had byes for certain rounds up to the semi finals. So, this round only had these 4 players. Semi finals had 8.
Ah ok. All of rankings? Was there wild cards?

Man I wish i could go pro. Im 18 so i got a late start and my putting is atrocious but im working my ass off in the hot,cold,and wind to become the best i can be
Daniel, you are doing great bro. 18 isnât too bad yet. Hell I got into it at 25 haha. As long as you are doing better than you were the day before, that is success my man. Keep up the hard work and you will make it, period!
Just keep up the grind. Iâm 17 and started playing a few months ago and have already seen leaps and bounds in my gameplay. I started at staying to what I was comfortable and getting better at that. (RHBH or which part of ur game ur better at) Then work on what needs worked on the most but donât forget about everything else or theyâll fall behind
Even if itâs getting your own basket to get extra putt reps to practice or going to a course and putting for a while before your actual round or after your round because youâll have to putt when youâre tired too so might as well practice some being fatigued
@@aferalmidget915 not doing to bad putting is rough but I've been throwing all mids to better my form i can drive about 200-250 consistently but im also learning 2 mids. Both csn hyzer flip with certain/power but mainly my turnover disc for now

They should carry over scores from the semis so it becomes a two day tournament for the final four players.

As of October 2nd, Andrew Marwede was 92.4% from C1X, and second place was McMahon at 89.8%.
Gannon was 1st in C2 putts at 37.1% with Marwede RIGHT behind him at 36.7%.
Gotta factor in situation to âbest putterâ designation. Putts made on 10th card vs lead or 2nd car carry diff level of pressure. Did Marwede earn enough points to make this event? Anyway⊠stats wise, i get it.
@@mylubs3 I see what you mean, but I disagree. "pressure" isn't a stat IMO. Poor Marwede's tee to green was just bad-bad for a tour player. haha 3% higher than the next guy in C1X is a big deal at that level
Every person I know that has met Ricky has told me heâs super arrogant and not a nice guyâŠ. All that talent and such a huge platform, why have a bad reputation like that?
Other than his handling of the Lyme Disease "holistic medicine" controversy I have literally never heard a single negative thing about him. I've also heard multiple firsthand accounts claiming exactly the opposite. Not sure who's giving you that information but I think we set an unrealistic expectation for how iconic athletes are supposed to act

For one, the prize money.
This doesn't have a stroke play style of Tournament like Worlds, This is based on total points culminated throughout the whole season
Am I the only one who doesn't really care what the purse size is? It seems like all disc golf talks about anymore is money. "Grow the sport" has become "grow our wallets". I'm not against them making money at all. I'm just against them talking about it so much.
. "Grow the maturity, decision making , and self responsibility of humanity".
Itâs vital to these players and future players making a living. By promoting the growth in purses, they make it more attractive for other sponsors to jump in. Relax, making money is not evil.
