I feel similar. I am not interested in climbing the corporate ladder or running some booming business. These days, I am more interested in owning my time and am finding that "owning" less allows me to own more of that.
You’ve reached your financial goals and now you’re maintaining and living your life! That’s it. Budgeting your finances is maintaining your finances. I just want to pay for all my necessities and reach a comfortable position financially and live life instead of being super focused on money because what’s the point of having all this money if you’re not enjoying life.
This is a perfect example of you both being in a good place in your life. I pray that you pass your clinical exam and that your spouse completes grad school with cum laude or magna or summa cum laude. Your compensations will definitely increase. Thanks for sharing that all is well, stress free, and content. ❣

I just subscribed. I thought I was going crazy. Now I know I’m just in my lazy era. I work and keep house but beyond that I’m not “hustling” anymore. I’m happy where I’m at in life.
I feel the same way. I closed my spa, even though I loved it, to have peace. I have no desire to climb the corporate ladder. I have felt like Im not doing enough because Im not interested in the hustle and bustle anymore. This video was great.

I needed to hear this... I save 22% pretax into retirement and close to 25% of my net income in a HYSA. I still feel like I'm not doing enough and struggle with spending money on myself. Life is short and tomorrow isn't promised to me so I commit to doing better on enjoying life now, n0t just putting a ton of money away for later. Balance... is where I plan to focus moving forward.

What you call lazy, I see as content. I think that’s where a lot of us get off track. We don’t know how and when to be content 0:03 where we are and that keeps us on the rat race for more.
I’m learning to be content. I truly have all that I’ve dreamed for and more.
I understand you don't want a lot but you need to plan for future you. You won't always have the health and time to build enough wealth to take care of future you. I say this with ❤
Saving money is not always about statue or being rich, it is about surviving the unknon and being prepare. life is hard and if you want your children to succeed you will need money to help and prepare them. You can have fun and still save for retirement and the future. As long as you set a goal to achieve a certain amount within a certain year and save for it , that is ok....
I'm a single mom, and I would like to save more for sure. And i would like to get a new car for us to have more space. I brought a new 2014 in 2014, and now GM will be discontinuing this vehicle😔
My car is 10 yrs old and needed to be repaired. I decided to repair it, because I haven't had a car note in years. The company i work for offers employees a lease program. You can lease a new car every 12 months, and it includes some pros, but you have to work a certain amount of hours a year to be eligible. As a single mom, with a lot of things going on, I can't give that many hours just to be eligible for a debt payment every month year after year. Im going to take my time and do my homework for another car purchase. I prefer to owe my vehicle after I've given up much of my hard earn coins towards it. Continue giving us these awesome videos.
