You mean when you said younger because even though Resident Evil 1 and 2 came out 2 years apart to take place during the same year during the events of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 1 Rebecca Chambers is 18 whereas during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica which also take place in 98 Claire is 19

My opinion on Moira would be diffirent, if i wouldn´t have played DmC before Rev2.
But i just can´t oversee it anymore.
And yeah, i know Moira´s backstory and her growth as a character in the game.
What a missed opportunity that Claire wasn’t in re6. Makes sense now why helena’s China outfit reminds me so much of Claire’s aesthetic

Funny enough in the books it was directly said she did meet her on a couple trips to Raccoon. And she admired her her bravery despite not knowing about the Arklay events.

From what I read, she originally was supposed to be until Capcom wanted to use her for Revelations 2 instead. I don't get why Capcom just doesn't want to make a game with all of the main protagonists. I thought RE6 was the perfect opportunity. It ain't a true Raccoon City reunion if 3/4 of the main RE2 cast were there without Claire lol
From what I also read, the bartender in the beginning of Chris's campaign is actually the beta model for Claire.

My explanation for why Claire can kick the head off a zombie is the fact that most of the zombies have already started rotting, resulting in the weakening of the muscle and tissues in their necks.
I mean zombies can take multiple bullets to the face without slowing down. Are they really weak?
@@frac4238 They are soft, so bullets just pass through them, without inflicting much damage. You need blunt trauma for zombie, and guns aren't best tool for it.

Neither one should be remade. PS2 took care of most of the janky-pointed polygons that the PS1 Trilogy had.

And for being almost in RE6 would have been a better choice as in Rev2.

Not really, Jill can also crush zombies skulls. Their bones are obviously rotten and more fragile than regular humans.

Well, about the amount of force required to detach a human head, we must consider that it's a zombie, with rotten-decomposed skin and likely very fragile bones. Anyhow, just nitpicking.
That's what I always thought. Same goes with the other characters smashing the heads when they stomp them. Sure a skull can be easily smashed when there isn't any tissue, but the head has muscles, fat and obviously skin making it very hard to smash it like the do when they stomp on them.

Good video. There is a picture of Claire shown on the stats screen in RE 2 where her hair is out, so we kinda did get to see her hair out before that Revelations game. a bit late on this, but it was actually a fan remake in the works! res4 producer himself stated they have no plans to remake code veronica. the fan remake was close to release but was recently shut down by capcom due to legal issues.

I should have recognized her voice as Jubilee from the Xmen series. I was literally looking at this series last month. Not the Xmen '97 they brought back but the actual one from the 90s.
My dream is that Capcom make some sort of a coop game with all the main characters, perhaps with RPG systems on top of their mastery of survival horror, so you can mix and match all your favorite characters with your friends or by yourself, each having their own skills or something, I didn't know how much I needed that until I played the RE4 remake and wished I could experience something similar with a friend with all the amazing characters from the series. Would be a lot cooler than remaking the rest of the games imo

In defense of the zombie head kicking, one of the T-Virus's effects was that it necrotizes tissue, which depending on how degraded a zombie is, could make it possible to kick one's head off. Just kind of my attempt to logic this.

The zombies are essentially rotting corpses animate, it's therefore more reasonable she might well be able to kick their heads off. I mean, it's basically a Zombie movie trope that Zombies limbs can get ripped off with relative ease.

This video was so good! The voice actress for Claire also did Lydia from Beetlejuice and Jubliee from the X-Men cartoon! That's why she was familiar when I played RE2 for the first time, all those years ago! When I was a kid, those were two of my favorite cartoons! Not much change between those two characters to her RE one! They are really close!
The part about claire kicking heads off not being realistic. Factual but are u taking into account that these are zombies? Flesh and bone is heavily deteriorated due to the virus. I think it would make it very possible in this case. Just a thought.

Great video! However if you were to kick someone square in the face while they were trying to get up, such as that zombie was, you actually most likely wouldn't break your leg. A possible sprained ankle makes sense but mostly you'll just end up snapping the neck of whoever you're kicking. Still it's pretty unlikely your break your leg though given the angle of the kick lol. Just thought I'd stick my 2 cents in lol

Code Veronica (with Claire and Chris) and RE4 (with Leon) were already in the development for next Gen consoles by big names. But Capcom wanted to do one more RE game for current console. They gave it to small team and only character left for them was Jill.
Yep. Neither CV nor Nemesis were intended to be the third entry in the series. Both were intended to be side stories and were developed simultaneously. Nemesis was released first, which is the only reason they promoted it to "3" status.

Capcom is full of shit, they could have easily altered the time frame for Revelations 2 to allow Clare into RE6 if that was really the reason or even not care about that detail since alot of people (myself included) were very upset Sherry didn't get to Reunite with Claire
