I tried using the Sources window guidance and found it not to work. My experience with trying to do this was not good. Not sure where the problem is.
Hi Bob, it is a tricky tool for sure. Which part of the process is not working for you? Are you able to add your second image to the Sources window?
@@TechnicallyTrent I was unable to add an image to the Sources window.
@@Bob-The-Guy Hi Bob, I checked it again. Looks like an "Image" will not work. But if you right-click on the image and rasterize it, then it can be added. I'll try to mention this on my next stream. Hope this helps!
@@TechnicallyTrent Will give it a shot.
Late again. Sorry. Will catch up later. Brian, Cambridgeshire, UK
I’ve never used the clone brush like that. I use it to select my source and then brush it at the destination point. I’ve never used it to duplicate an entire selection.
Another super helpful video! This will really be of use to me - I get images or elements off Creative Fabrica or Canva that I want to use, but need to alter in some way. This is one of the big reasons I'm moving over to Affinity, actually. Thanks!
Great, let us know how it goes! Will you be working with vector or raster images? Perhaps I'll make a follow up video on how to edit vector images .
@@TechnicallyTrent I'll be using both, but primarily vector. Would love a video on editing those!
