What dazzling beauty in Hooper's "Magnificat"! That succession of voices and soloists in the choir is really moving.
As I see more and more musical performances I can pay attention to the play of voices in the choir. Without being an expert in music, I cannot fail to be impressed by the skill of all the participants and the wealth of their resources.
I appreciate the great effort that must be made to reach this point of perfection, and the generosity of sharing it. I imagine that if I could witness it live I would be even more impressed and subjugated by its beauty.
