Imagine trying to build a house with Jason lurking in the distance and you have to build it as quick as possible since once night falls, Jason (or some other unlicensed killer) attacks and you have to survive the night

Sounds a lot like the game “7 Days to Die”. Instead of Jason it’s zombies tho. I’d recommend it, especially on PC.

This is good game but it has a lot of bugs in it., Bugs that may never be fixed. The ladder gets stuck and can't move it The kinetics and gravity are all screwed up. Pieces are always falling below the ground and can't reach them, meaning, you have to buy more. First person view so stumble over everything you can't see while you're trying to get around. This is just a couple things, there is more but they are just minor annoyances. I picked it up while on sale so it wasn't that bad. Game has great potential if they fix it.
If you can not design the house, it is worthless.
I read somewhere that there are only 7 houses in total to build...is that true?? if so, im not getting it

Thanks! Not sure about the building your own house. There's a small amount of preset houses you can kinda mess with but not much after that

I want to see a House builder Simulator or more like a Free roam sandbox where the guidelines, virtuality don't exist. I am thinking of 'Fallout 4'- Sanctuary where Bethesda gave the option to just free roam in the town and you could control the environment, so you could just decorate the old 1950s houses, i spent days in Sanctuary getting lost in the atmosphere, i think Bethesda are the best Devs at creating open world games, on earth not space.

On Earth, for now…. We’ll see if Bethesda’s Starfield will change that or not. My main concern tho is that Microsoft owns them now…. It’s hard to make good art under the pressures and time limit of capitalism

if you were expecting a building simulator with some CRAZY SUPER REAL PHYSICS DESTRUCTION....
NO. You're not going to find it here.
YES, you can destroy your structures after you build them with various tools and vehicles, but the destruction is PAINFULLY WONKY AND LACKLUSTER. It's not TRULY 100% DYNAMIC DESTRUCTION. not even fucking 50%. Think bad company 2 type of destruction. Only static geometry, then a collision triggers a particle effect, as in the current static wall or window or WHATEVER is swapped is swapped out with some broken debris particle effect to make it FEEL like dynamic destruction. Its NOT. Another way I can tell it's not, is that parts of the house can literally remain suspended in midair, so there literally is no overall STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY, like an amazing game like red faction guerilla that has REAL 100% DYNAMIC PHYSICS AND STRESS-BASED DESTRUCTION, WHERE LITERALLY EVERY CHUNK OF A STRUCTURE IS AN ACTUAL PHYSICAL OBJECT THAT CAN BE CHIPPED AWAY.
It's sad. A game like this, ESPECIALLY A FUCKING GAME LIKE THIS WHERE YOU'RE BUILDING STUFF IN A SANDBOX ENVIRONMENT, WOULD GREATLY BENEFIT FROM A PROPER PHYSICS ENGINE.
BUT ALAS, IT'S AN INDIE GAME, AND YOU KNOW HOW INDIE TEAMS ARE VERY SMALL WITH VERY SMALL BUDGETS, SO THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO BUILD A TOP QUALITY PHYSICS ENGINE LIKE SOMETHING LIKE CRYENGINE OR GEOMOD 2.0. Indie games are forever CURSED to have shitty buggy lackluster physics.
Dude, early access is not a genre.
Also, just a friendly word of advice, move the angle of your webcam so that the reflections on your glasses of your monitor are not visible to the viewer. It's important for us to see your eyes. Otherwise, good video.
Yea thanks! The reflection wasn't bothering me personally but I can see that. I've moved at least the giant white ring light up a little. Gotta work on the monitor reflection now. Also just lumping in the early access there to give more info. I'll make sure to say it earlier or later and NOT in the genre section, :D
