Contact damage on melee based combat is stupid as hell so I'm glad they went with no damage here. On ranged based combat like Metroid it makes sense but in melee combat when you have to be up close it's is just not a good mechanic.

Hey, everyone! As of this comment. The devs have released some extra content and changes on the developmenal branch. Basically a bit more things added to the world/generation and adjusted late game requirements and better ending text. So there you go! Some things fixed, does anyone have any footage or explanation on the new ending texts?

This ended up being way longer than I meant it to be LOL I really liked Slime rancher, and slime rancher 2! The bat and the ringtail had to be my fave new slimes; Absolutely died over the bat lol The only problem I had, was prob about 5 or so hours in, I realized there was something... Lacking. Slime rancher 2 has a pretty nice map, I love the map, and finding the slimes, and the resources, but there isn't really MUCH that's different than the first and outside of exploration, upgrading and collecting, there just isn't much to the game right now. That's a huge part of the game, sure, but there was still something lacking that had me going back to slime ranger 1 every time. And that was... Side content. Other than exploring, collecting, and upgrading your gear, the first game had the side areas. Helping Mochi and Ogden with their special tasks by doing a timed special plort collecting, or going into the wilds looking for Kookadoba fruits. Even just having the little "daily" quests for extra plorts and items from the coms station thing was really nice to have that could give you a task that's more than aimless wondering. Getting to know the characters and helping them, and having tasks to do outside of the base chores and aimless wondering was amazing, and that's what slime rancher 2 is really missing right now. Other than a mysterious AI that Viktor is talking to and stuff, there really isn't much going on there. There aren't any other new characters to get to know, there's no other real side content you can do (That I know of). Its a super cute game though, but I would deff wait till its out of early access before really trying to get into the game. Heck, I'd even started playing before all the upgrade content was even out. I was crying being stuck at 30 plort max collection LOL I really do hope they add some more content though. Maybe a new character or 2 that can send you out on special tasks, and I really hope they bring back the "daily" tasks in some way shape or form.

Can I learn how to play D&D with this game?

Hey mabi, that ui bug where the game freezes and you lose all progress. Its a bug I'm currently experiencing right now, and its been hard for me to willingly want to continue playing the game. Do you know if the devs are still fixing that bug, or is it a problem with the system im using to play the game ( i play on xbox so maybe on one system theres no bugs, but other systems still experience bugs). If you don't know, do you know where i can go to see any updates on the game?

Glad they redesigned the map menu. That was my only criticism with the first game, it didn't look good and was confusing, so an overhaul for the sequel was inevitable!

When I saw the trailer I knew it resembled something I played and remembered Paragon. I actually thought Paragon was a pretty fun, if not a little too simplistic but what I did play I enjoyed for a time. Game has a lot of potential if they stick with it.

The hidden items equipments are Odogaron belt Beta+ ; Jewerlly (The one which gives you artillery lvl 3) then for all the other skills, he's using jewerlly on his armor. You can also predict and see what jewerlly he is using per amor if you look at where the skill slots are used

Honestly if it cost £55 if you got none of those coins I’d just suggest if your a Turtles fan just get Injustice 2 and buy them it should be cheaper or at the same amount and they have the character intro’s different from the others also they fight and have a intro with Sub-Zero

I do agree that the subtitles do move a bit too fast, and I've seen a lot of people agree with this. It's just fast enough for the player to barely read it to themselves in their mind, but it's too fast for content creators who want to read the lines out loud for their viewers. I do hope they extend the subtitle duration in the final version. I think it'll be neat if they gave players the option to toggle on/off contact damage for their preferences, or unless it's intended to be part of the higher difficulty (I noticed there's a difficulty option, but it's locked in the early access). I do understand some players would prefer contact damage, but when comparing to its predecessor which DID have contact damage, not having it in Magnolia definitely makes things more smoother and fair. In ENDER Lilies, I didn't really like the contact damage since it was sometimes inconsistent with the hitboxes and receiving contact damage stuns/knocks you back for like half a second, which ruins the flow of your combat gameplay at times when getting knocked back forces you into a bad spot and/or lets the enemies follow up on your vulnerability. I still remember getting pinned between a wall and an enemy and then I received a chain on contact damages back to back until I died. One more thing I hope they do is nerf the freeze ability from the Lito homunculi. I noticed that even after Lito gets off cooldown, enemies will still be frozen, allowing you to chain Lito again to perma freeze them. 4-5 seconds of freeze just seems a bit too long. It might as well be an insta-kill ability for normal enemies at that point. I would say a reasonable duration for the freeze could be 2-3 seconds. Probably 3 for the sake of potential higher difficulty in the full version.

Do you recommend this game?

I kind of want to try the game as a fan of Portia, but what keeps me hesitating is that the world looks sad without any trees or nature, which I don't really like.

I always buy all of the dlc for these Taiko games. I have the song pass because we were basically forced into getting it with this version. Also im annoyed that we are so far behind with dlc. Japan and Asia have alot more dlc songs than we do here in the West. Bandai namco needsto get with it and update the dlc for us. They always update the song pass, but i would rather own the dlc.

I didn't know a sequel was in the works, enjoyed what I played of previous one. Great to hear this sequel looks good. Agree with you about being bummed it's early access, will be waiting for it's release.

Don't play the game unless you want to spend a lot or constantly lose which earns you no currency.

I love turn based games like Phoenix Point and Phantom Doctrine. I enjoyed Midnight Sun's card mechanics. A turned based, card based, rpg,roguelike seems like a fun concept! I'll give it a try!
