From what I heard the complete process takes about 8 minutes in realistic setting and about 5 minutes in "fast" setting.
And same that for the door close procedure.

@@tracycui3800 I've got 2 free ones but gonna buy this one because being on PC my Xbox friends can't see my antonovs. To think with the sim being out so long it would be a way to see other ppls planes that u don't have as at least a basic model of that plane

No it's not Putin bootlicker.
The 225 has less total engine power from its six engines than the a380’s four. Probably why it needs such a long runway. Maybe the possible rebuild of it can have a new cockpit and new engines.
6x 777 engines would be amazing!

@swiss001 hey swiss i think that you might have a cpu bottleneck which is the cause of your low framerate. You have a i7 9700k which is to unable to handle the rtx 3080, so when you are running the flight sim your cpu will be running at 100% while your gpu will only be using 70% of what it's capable off so it is running like a 2080ti. I recommend for you to upgrade your cpu and your framerate will increase because your gpu and cpu can both run at 100% thus removing the bottleneck. i have a I7 12700f with 12 cores and a rtx 3070 , 32 gigs of ram and i can run the antonov an225 in mfs2020 with 50 to 60 frames on ultra. btw love your video's. Keep up the good work 👍

this plane landed at my local airport a few years back (not a big airport, but definitely do able) this was then Bardufoss Lufthavn. I had the idea of you trying to land the antonov 225 at this airport which btw is located in Northern Norway in a video sometime with snow as weather. reason being that it was very snowy at the time that the 225 was at Bardufoss lufthavn.

I was lucky to see it depart from Billund/EKBI in Denmark on its last ever flight! So sad that it is destroyed :( Great Video!

This mod feels like the perfect summary of the Ukrainian people's dreams. During the initial invadion of Kyiv, that dream seemed like it was destroyed. But, after that invasion was successfully repelled, the dream lived on. Like the Mriya of the flight simulator.

It is very unlikely, if you ask me.
UA doesn't (and didn't) have enough money or infrastructure to build another one.
There is also no practical need in such a big plane anymore, since it was originally built to transport Soviet space shuttle "Buran"
@@SomeBodyThatYouUsedToKnow303 but there are no other plane that could match the 225 in terms of cargo load. So. The 225 is still needed for infrastructures like medical needs & even transportation & energy infrastructures like carrying 3 giant blades of a giant windmill.

Bought it the second I saw it in the marketplace^^ It's nice but it takes a big hit at your FPS... I run a 4080 with a Ryzen 7700x and all the sudden I was below 30fps with BIG dips xD
For msfs at least, I think your cpu could be bottlenecking you in situations like this? I mean it is a ryzen 5. What resolution do you play on?
@@grantmckenzie787 actually it's surprisingly balanced... the 7700x was kind of a makeshift solution since the 7800x3d wasn't available when I had the time to build my new rig... I just didn't want to wait another 3 months, however, I might swap out the CPU ^^
@@sneakprev1984 balanced for most games yeah, but msfs is particularly demanding on the cpu.

Im pretty sure that Ukraine is in the process of building a new 225. Hopefully all goes to plan and we can see the beauty flying again.
Ukraine is still at war. All the necessary government funding are going toward that. Only Microsoft and independent charitable entities are trying to fund the rebuilding effort.
