By the way chirs The drugs are from police dumps they often wash away drug so they are un-useable but it often leaks into rivers and ponds also the turtles and sharks are probably at a sea life centres back rooms where they are fed away from visitors
@@lilac_blob What is about the drugs in the video? I don't get it. Sorry.
My god that ecosphere is absolutely gorgeous. Would work well as a decoration IMO too.
a collection of them on a shelf is my goal in life

I think I saw that tiny sea monkey tank before, the sea monkeys in there actually lived healthily and even bred. The owner has a CZcams channel that specialized in making videos reviewing and raising sea monkeys. The tank was created as an experiment to see if you can create the smallest fish tank ever, with the diameter of the tank around 1 inch I think. He took great care of the sea monkeys and moved them to a bigger tank when they bred.
Mind me asking what CZcams channel that is? I saw another one like that where someone made a literal tank out of microscope slides and a 1 inch planted cylinder that had live daphnia in it
@@artandgrow9240 i forgor- 💀
@@artandgrow9240 I just went to check and the channel is named Artemia Daddy lmao, I haven't rewatch his content for while so i may not remember clearly what was in the video so correct me if my original comment was wrong in some way!
ljnjlknnj
I saw that video its so good
Yeah, agreed. My favorite schooling species is also the “thanks so much for watching if you enjoyed please smash that like button and subscribe There will be more videos to come and don’t forget to get your hands wet” really beautiful species tbh. Lots of personality too
Sammmeee it's such an underated species!! I have at least 4 tanks with them!
7:23 is actually from a video by Artemia Daddy, who has a lot of knowledge on brine shrimp, and he was testing just how sturdy the shrimp can be (turns out they can survive incredibly even in such an enclosed space and even produced babies). He moved them at the end back to their original tank.
Opae Ula Shrimp (Halocaridina rubra) are such fascinating and amazing creatures. You just can't find anything like this.
truly incredible
@@FishForThought glad you know the shrimp
Love your videos! Because of you I started a 29 gallon fish tank with c02 injections and a bunch of plants like Staurogyne repens, pearlweed, salvinia and anubias. You taught me so much and I owe my bank account being emptied to you
Those plants don't need CO2 at all 😂
Maybe just the s repens if you want it to be more bushier and full
@@sreeraja1735 well pearl weed and S. Repens will grow beter but that is definitely a waste of co2
You should try some more difficult plants since you have figured out CO2. Maybe add a little red. Really cool. Happy aquascaping 😊
I too blamed him for being broke at one point in my life
Just found this channel and honestly I love the attitude LOL
subbed!
Watching FTR while doing a water change makes it actually kinda fun
Hey Chris I just wanted to say you are really inspirational and have helped me with keeping my fish and prevented me from making any mistakes and I’m a really big fan of your work it inspired me to create a mini planted tank (6 gallons) for my Betta fish . Thanks so much .
that's awesome! 6 gallon planted for a betta fish :) keep it up
The ecosphere has inspired me to try another one , I’m looking forward to trying it again
me too :)
How’d it go?
This just made my Monday brighter!❤
Fish 👏 Tank 👏 Review 👏
ayyy glad to hear it!
since 10 years i have a 60 l nano cube with shrimp, fish and snails. I have never cleaned it. Never fed any of the animals in there. After one year or so the populations of all species stabilized. Only the shrimps nearly died out at some point but now it stays at a stable amount too. It is completely clean with a very very small amount of algae. I believe the key to this is not feeding and not exposing it to direct sunlight
Best way to start off the new quadmester in school 👌
Best shoaling fish is the pea puffer! I didn’t know that they were a shoaling species for a long time but it’s so cool that they are :)
ooo yes not the first shoaling species to come to mind but def an amazing one!
chris, i've gotta thank you for inspiring me to get an aquarium and how to design it well, my fish and shrimp are living in peace together and the water parameters are just right! im really enjoying it and i'd say im 4 - 5 months in.
In Vienna they have a seaturtle at the aquarium. Simply because authorities rescued it, when someone tried to smuggle it in at the airport and ever since then, it has been living at the aquarium.
But that's ONE seaturtle in the massive blacktip shark tank. No excuse for that overstocked mess we saw in the video 😅
man, youre actually making everyone of my mondays a little better. keep it up!
thanks so much sid :)
The Newport Aquarium in Kentucky has a tank with a sea turtle and sharks. I suspect it’s not all that uncommon in large public aquariums
Fav schooling fish is the Rummy Nose Tetra! I have 8 in my 32 gal flex with 5 Pygmy Cory's, 2 nerite snails and a female Betta. Heavily planted with fluval Stratum capped with sand/pebbles, lots of driftwood as well.
Watching this while setting up a doser for my reef tank. Truly immaculate vibes here. ✨️
your monday is certified vibing
Just found your channel this morning and I’m already binge watching all your videos 😅
welcome aboard!
@@FishForThought Happy to be here!
just finished setting up my 56 gallon bowfront corner tank’s scape and substrate, plants in the mail i’m so excited. hopefully it’ll be good enough to submit for a ftr
Watching FTR next to my aquarium when coming home from university just makes my Monday worth smiling ❤
(Sorry for my poor English, I am French 😅)
Ayyyyyy best day of the week once more!!!! Fish 👏 tank 👏 review 👏
9:51 Chris what the heck what is your favorite?!? Now I won't be able to sleep tonight.
oh no xD Actually I just don't know which is my fave, that's why I skipped it
I have a 3 gallon shrimp tank that kinda did the same thing, started with 6, now i have 50+ and they have started a cult and are currently standing in a circle and plotting.
Hi chirs, my fav schooling fish has to be the chilli rasboras. Also i love cardinal tetras, but they get a lil too big for true nano tanks.
My favourite schooling fish by far is the Khuli Loach. Cute little beans that just vibe and swim like a noodle with the personality of a cinnamon bun :D
I am watching this after a Water change (1 hour of cleaning filters) dropped in Some cetappa leaves and im very excited to watch an FTR after a exhausting, boring Monday✌️
Wait. What what? Y'all are not familiar with the shark fin guppy? OMG that picture was funny! 🤣
I think my favourite schooling fish are Neon Tetras. Cute simple great colours 👌
Made my Monday Chris
fav shoaling fish is the serpae tetra once they get settled in and color up
FFT is the only reason to look forward to Mondays.
ty!
I would say my favorite schooling fish species are Celestial Pearl Danios. I've personally never owned any, but I do plan on maybe getting a school for my planted tank in the future.
That Ecosphere is doing super good and there is 60 shrimp!!
The algae is a sustainable food source for the shrimp.
Im considering actually making a fish tank after watching this ftr.
perhaps it's time :)
just grab a jar🙃
Rummynose. All time favourite schooling fish.
Happy Monday 😊
Love you're videos Chris!
ty!
My dad is like literally besties with the people who work at this one local fish store
QOTW: I'm loving my Dwarf Neon Rainbows right now!!
Commenting about the ecosphere: This ecosphere is amazing but I run into more people who think that this is a normal way to keep aquariums. Like "you just have to balance it and then it will take care of itself". No. No it won't.
dwarf neon rainbows never get old!
lmao true, maybe if they had more experience and read up on the walstad method
Bobbed and weaved right out of that personal answer of the week
Bro i've been watching you on your food channel for months now and my mom showed me a random budgie video from this channel and i was like WTF i recognize that voice 😂😂 I had no idea this channel existed!!!
Nice touch with the Stardew background music. Made me think my game was up. XD
i really like celestial pearl danios! one fish i never had but want to get eventually
I have an online bought round ecosphere that started with 5 shrimp and now it has 3 coming on 10 years old in a couple months.
my mondays are better with u lol! i should be practicing piano but instead im watching FTR....btw I also have an ecosphere. You actually inspired me to make it! now im almost 1 year in the fish hobby too!
aw haha ty! Please get that practice in tho I don't want your parents to be angry with me
Another awesome video
Mom: why are you on your phone so much?
Me: checking to see if ftr is uploaded yet 😂
tyyy
Your turning into my favourite youtuber it's just so cool that you reply to every comment😁😁
How do people have 60 shrimp in an ecosphere yet I can barley have 5 fish in a 5 gallon 😅
Good job On the FTR today Chris 🙏
haha xD bioload I guess!
thx :)
You had me at brackish LOL
For that one product at the end with the leaves I once bought that thinking it would be good but little did I know that the leaves were about the same size as a small guppy and we returned them and got some other ones for the same price but full sized and 100 while those were only 40 small ones
My family's first Bettas lived in a container that was never cleaned they were never fed and less than a bottle of water fit in it. The worst part we split it in half to have two fish
My fav schooling fish is harlequin rasbora. I'm a little bit biased though since I keep them in my 30 gallon with my shrimp colony.
7:25 I saw the video that had the really small fish bowl. Just know they took the sea monkeys out and put them into something bigger
I love your videos, because of you I am getting Rod of sponge Bob in my tank, my kids begged for. 'Sorry kids the fish man told me it's animal abuse'
it's always a struggle when random problems effect fish. one of my pygmy cories got skinny and is breathing heavy inside my shrimp tank for no apparent reason and one of my cichlid fry got attacked in my mbuna tank [ although that's no surprise with such aggressive fish]. on the bright side I did get a new 15 gallon
The shrimp in the English countryside be like : “mmm this algae tastes so good , I want some more, I wonder why it’s white tho?”
I really want a shrimp ecosphere myself! I have a big jar and some ideas. I change favorites by daily mood so i think Barracuda is my favorite schooling fish right now.
Go for it man. I started one nearly 6 months back. It suffered from some algae issues and all but it made a comeback and is doing pretty well nowadays
ah yes the barracuda... one of the coolest fish in the sea! I heard they are more dangerous than sharks, wonder if that's just a myth tho
That rap at the end is totally fire 🔥
It is Monday... interesting. Merry Christmas!
LOVE UR VIDS JUST GOING TO GET A BETTA TANK WITH GUPPYS AND LIVEBREAD I HAVE BEEN WATCHINGY YOU FROM THE BEGINING
QOTW - nano fish, definitely chili rasbora; larger schooling fish, lemon tetras. I love both because they're very active and not shy in the least.
At the moment I love Danios. Mine are so amazing and I'm surprised they arent more popular.
Neomysis Integer, I believe. They’re found in the North Atlantic. What an absolutely beautiful world this guy created.
I always fold my laundry while watching FTR and now when I smell clean laundry I think about fish
wholesome vibes :)
Cloud mountain minnows are my favourite schooling fish
Sadly the place I bought my almond leaf from went under. They were... Kinda shitty in their fish care and selection. But if you wanted a unique tank ne work used they had some good pieces. Also offered tank glass replacement and repair. Which was at a surprisingly reasonable price. ( No bad reviews about the repairs either )
But the main thing I went there for, was the .25 cent Almond leaf packs. Great deal compared to other local store prices.
Awesome video ceep up the amazing content😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Havent watched the vid but that title and thumbnail reminded me for life in jars
I've always wanted to start a shrimp bowl with live plants and an awsome scape, but i don't think im experienced enough
My 5 month old ecosphere going strong pearlweed be boomin
My bro even though you did not review my tanks i sent you, your vids are still 5/5 my bro keep it up
Food substraight makes me feel better about the algae bloom I got rn
you are awesome!!!!!!! saludos desde Costa Rica :)
It's kinda easy for me when it's all about the shrimp.
Favorite schooling fish salt-pajama cardinals
Love my ember tetras
Chris Tang review is the best
My favorite schooling fish species is the White Cloud Mountain Minnow!
awesome choice! I love them :)
Sea monkeys also use a mix of brackish water. I wonder if the compatible salinity ranges of the two overlap? Dual species?
Ever thought about that Earth could be a huge jar that aliens are watching? To them, we would be the shrimps.
I put 6 cherry shrimp 4 years before in a jar but at first i was waiting for the algae to cover everything and then I put the shrimp...(i forgot to mention that I added a piece of an eggshell for calcium, a tiny piece of Christmas moss and also a piece of lettuce to boost the algae) and now the jar has 17 of them..
I plan on getting a 10 gallon betta tank with maybe a few neon tetras and shrimp depending is the betta is aggressive or not. Thank you so much of inspiring me into the hobby Chris, and for all of your tips ❤️
Don’t get any other fish for a 10! There is only room for a betta, with shrimp and snails for a 10. If you want neons with thenhetta too then I would go for an 20+ gallon! 20 long is the best
@@TakiFishMan Oh ok thank you. Ill skip on the tetras then. I heard that 5-6 were good 10 gallon mates and wanted to get some because I though it would look nice with how it the tank would be ser up.
@@TakiFishMan Agree.
@@therandomgoat2908 néon tetra need a big tank I wouldnt consider them micro fish . Yeah not appropriate for a 10 gallon . And they are known fin nippers.
@@pixazelz oh ok thanks. I just heard that they were good 10 gallon mates for bettas before and wanted to try them out.
Actually my guppy always stayed on the surface of the water till one day after I had just woke up and I heard a splash in the water but I didn't pay attention to the tank since I was tired and sleepy. Later that day I couldn't see him anymore, idk what happened since in the tank there wasn't anything that could eat him except a brisstlenose pleco but it would be strange for one to eat a two inch fish...
At least I think so....
Lemon tetra nice schooling fish
A mini magnet cleaner for the glass would be sweet! I bought a tiny shrimp eco sphere for my mom that has 3 shrimp about the same time and they are still alive and happy. Ther have a moss plant they feed on and are fed once a month. They tiny magnet glass cleaner looks like a tiny corkboard 📌 pin..
In the video where the tiny sea monkey tank was created even the person who created it said it’s too small normally. He let two sea monkeys grow in it until they got bigger and then put them in the bigger tank. He wanted to see if he could grow them in that small of a tank.
I admire ecospheres. The world is a big ecosphere that is had been around for millions of years as well. 😍📌
rly insightful comment! I vibe with this xD
Reference for 7:20 thing, the person made a CZcams video where he ordered sea monkeys and separated 2 into that tank, he then did an experiment where he saw if they could live, they lived and they even ended up breeding. Sorry I know this is a lot of words but basically the sea monkeys lived a good life but he eventually moved them to a bigger tank. Sorry for the rant😅😅
I thought this looked like a long video for a Wednesday upload, then I realized it was Monday.
“This person has entrepreneur vibes” im dead
My favourite schooling fish are at the moment Corydoras catfish 😊
I'm still a sucker for schools of tiger barbs. Always keep a school of them in at least one tank.
Wow chris did you just not answer your own QOTW so we are cliff hangin’ til next monday? Big brain right here.
My favorite schooling fish would be tetras, also I went to Zamzows and I saw a pink betta she had been dyed and had fin rot really bad they let me have her for a dollar and now I have her treated and she's living her best life in a 20 gallon! Hope your proud 🥺😂
Probably not dyed but a glofish betta, they're genetically modified to have crazy colors
@@1995biggestfan oh really I assumed she was dyed because she is a really really pink it's an unnatural color..
the best part is when he called out all the genji mains
I think Corydora might be my fave 🤔
