- Happy Monday! This video is late because I didn't give myself NEARLY enough time to film and edit like I wanted to, but it's HERE finally! A full tour of my vintage loungewear, peignoir, and other nightwear collection as well as a THRIFT HAUL! I haven't gone thrifting in soooo long and while I'm still very cautious about it, it felt good to get out!

I wish loungewear was still this beautiful. The stuff out these days is too revealing and costs oh so much. That holy grail robe and gown set is my favorite. I’ll be checking the store for some of these beauties!

I didn't realize just how much I had till I pulled it out from the hooks they hang on! They're behind a wall, so I never see them really all at once.

I'm sorry this video is SO late but I didn't give myself enough time to film OR edit, oops! Tell me, which one is your favorite? PS because I got asked a ton on Facebook, this dress is from Amazon and unfortunately no longer exists! But, I searched off-shoulder cottagecore to find it!
My absolute favorite piece from this video was the last one, white handmade from the 40s. My goodness wouldnt it make an awesome actual wedding dress!!? There were so many others i loved... the ivory lacy vavavoom, the pink peignor (sp?) set, the pink one with the lace short sleeves. Well, I'd feel lucky to find any of these you showed!

Those prices are incredible!! I've been thrifting for 20 years and get so bummed by how boring and expensive things have been recently.
Me TOO. Goodwill is nearly always disappointing, but there are several different thrift stores around me that aren't chains and they always have WAY better stuff.
These are the most beautiful gowns I have ever seen! The white with blue ribbon prob be my favorite but the yellow and the pink mismatched are right up there as well.
So glamorous! I most often wear t-shirts and sweats to bed, I've never really thought that nightwear is allowed to be beautiful!

I spent about the first 15 years of my life pronouncing this word wrong.
My husband’s parents had very little education, not even high school, but he lied to get in the army for the GI Bill so he could go to college and has a PhD. My mom was an orphan and read her way into her education and she noticed immediately that my (then) boyfriend must have read a lot to mispronounce so many words! I’m very proud of my husband for having that lifelong goal. He still reads a lot.

These items are so beautiful! What awesome luck you had that day at the thrift shop. I especially love all the wonderful fluffyness of them all. Funny story: My husband had to have shoulder surgery a few years ago and I know how to say each of the words correctly by themselves but... Every time I told someone what he was in the hospital for I would say soldier shurgry. I had the hardest time with those words together. I totally think Vintage Farmwife should totally be a thing because I would be one also!
HAHA I hate those phrases that just trip you up incessantly despite knowing the individual words!

Another place to find timeless sleepwear is The Vermont Country Store. Sometimes they have matching robes, sometimes not. Sometimes they look like 1980 grandma is the wrong way, but other pieces are delightful.

Shadowline has a robe very much like the one you wear at 20:40 in the video. Sadly, matching robes are not easy to find in the current production of nylon sleepwear. :~(

Just found your channel. Subbed and LOVE it! BTW, as for mispronouncing words...still remember attempting to use "new" words I had discovered reading the "Reader's Digest." I once used "hyperbole" in a sentence and pronounced it as hyoer-BOWL, lol...not to mention that it was in front of a guy I thought was adorable...talk about the walk of shame...AND he was my BOSS! Yikes, and double Yikes!! That was thirty years ago, and I promise you, I still remember! (That should let you know, I am not a youngster, wink), Blessings, and keep doing vids, you are cute as a button!
