yes, please keep it going I love that the verity aspect of the channel is still survival games and not just random games. I don't know what it is, but I really enjoy the genre.

The diamond minecraft reference was great
OK so the only thing you missed on the island is getting the seeds for the melons and lantern fruits( shmack with knife like cavemen ok), they're extremely useful to have cuz you can make an infinite food supply of it and melons are very good for water.
Items are more frequent at certain locations, highly recommend reading/listening to the pda's you pick up because they will contain hints or general directions at certain locations when you progress throughout the series.
You can build bases without the multipurpose room (iknow iknoe you found it but still) in order to enter your new base you need to construct a hatch. (In your blueprints)
As for your seamoth once you've made the moonpool you'll be able to make a reinforcement module for it so it doesn't die as quickly. (Think of minecraft armor) there will also be storage modules etc.
You can go to the aurora at any given time you have the following tools
- laser cutter
- propulsion cannon
- radioactive protective suit (forgot the name)
- a set of diapers (you'll need them)
As for the scanner room
There's a module you can make (something with "hud") which will allow you to select said item you wish to hunt and it'll show u exact locations on your screen kinda like how the coordinates for the pods are popping up, very useful for resource gathering.
Tips: you can carry multiple oxygen tanks and rotate them to replenish (to refill tanks must wear them in open air)
You can make temp base with corridors cause can also add door/hatch to them. Solar power good. Can add alot of solar panels to corridors
I also think you'll like scanner room with seaglide (gives you minimap to follow)
MUST EXPLORE to find more fragments to scan. Some things in rooms. some rooms you'll need special tools to enter
Love your content and i say would love see you continue this series. Is nice change of pace from strictly minecraft like when you played raft. And i feel you having more opinions keeps you from feeling stagnate.
I'm not sure if you ever figured it out but, the reason the night is super short sometimes is because it's not night, it's a Solar Eclipse! Next time it does it, look at the sun and you'll see! :)
I really hope you continue this series, even if it's just the base building instead of the story as much, I'd love to watch it and see what you build!!

Some pro tips: later on when you need to make power cells, just use dead batteries. It will still produce a fully charged cell.
Diamonds and a lot more items can be found on the island that has mountains you went to. You'll find caves and just run through them to find some important materials. Just be ready to fight those crabs.
Check the pda logs you get at life pods. There's a huge audio story going on behind the scenes. Also a lot more way points.
You're almost ready to check out the aurora now. Get those diamonds I mentioned! Just build a base for storage first as you'll be finding a lot of needed stuff. Mainly alot of upgrades. But a ton of decorations for a base and more recipes to upgrade even further so you can start going deeper.
You're doing great... And yes, this world is hard to navigate, you start to memorize from repeated exploration and way points that are given.
Also the pdas you found on the island are from another crew that crash landed before you years before you. You'll be finding a lot of scannable stuff from them. Don't forget about the grow beds!
Shush don't give him tips but I didn't know about the op loot in the underwater islands until I think my 3rd or 4th playthrough of the game XD
@@Dragons67786 lol oh no there's already too many people trying to get him jump scared. I figure somebody should get him some op tips.
I know skyes... He'll either feel lost and struggle until he finds the good stuff or he'll start loot goblining it up for hours in the beginning areas long enough for his escape pod to start drifting away. Either way, we deserve a great playthrough and we'll get it with skyes.
Just hope he doesn't lose interest in one of the best games of all time.

Love this series! Also, You don't need to build a multipurpose room to build a base!!! You can build a base that can do most stuff out of any base pieces, it just might not be very roomy!
Get some fruits from the island and plant it in your base using the vases or planting box thing. You can get the coordinates back in your PDA.
I really hope you keep playing this. I think everyone should play this at least once.
Also head to one of the islands for the multipurpose room and bulkhead door along with a green wall and a green bed to plant plants in the water and in the multipurpose room.

Lantern fruit is a good source of fuel for the bioreactor, the fruit is also the seed when planting

Hey Skews, you really should do a little mod just to when you craft, it will automatically pull the ingredients from your storages so u don’t waste time having to search (u aren’t the best at organization to be honest) 😅
And u should be able to make a base, u just need the materials in your inventory and have to start with a foundation.
