@@voidenterprises well ‘expurgation’ has a lot of sudden death notes. So note spamming isn’t useful at all. If he did, he would have died multiple times. Actual note spammers are gonna have hard time with this song
@@shadowfox6276 I legit saw the keys going crazy, look at the video, and you can just stop spamming when you see the death notes, not to mention the fact that the game doesnt save expurgation scores, so he also could of recorded this part multiple times and no one would know.

I love the fact that Tricky does his absolute best to try and get you to fail, even resorting to cheating like dropping those insta-fail notes, obscuring your screen with his signpost and his little minion pulling the healthbar back to his favour, like, this is Tricky from Madness Combat through and through and I couldn't be more happier about it.

I love how there's "hard" mods about the spam and all that, like Wii Matt, Whitty, Tabi, Bob, and so on, but TRICKY is the one to send out notes that instantly kill you, forcing you to be careful of what you press instead of just spamming keys.

@@conehead_mark1853 you don't really need full health, the speed of the pull is different depending on how much health you have( if you're full health he pulls faster, but if you're low health, he pulls it super slow), you just need to hit every note there to avoid dying

Love this mod because Tricky literally cheats, pulling your healthbar down and obscuring your vision because he now knows he can't kill BF conventionally. He HAS to beat him in a rap battle, thus, he just cheats.

But in madness combat tricky would give weapons to Hank, make a fair fight (like when Hank was holding the riot shield and Tricky touched his shoulder), and even revived Hank a couple of times just for a rematch.

@@iamMildlyUpsetWithMostOfYouTub well... there are technically similar things called improbabillity drive and it's mainly what causes this, hank was revived with it, same as tricky multiple times and auditor is basically made of a drive to Mt knowledge, you can also see that tricky's brain is entirely replaced by a drive in episode 8 or 9

Expurgation is the action of expurgating something, which is objectionally or questionably removing lots of material from something.

When very unfair exist, bunch of stop signs would end up blocking all of your arrows

I feel like the only times people died was either having low enough health during the long pull at the end or gets killed by the flame arrows none of them seemed to actually get done in by the signs

It was smart of the nod creators to make players defeat all levels before madness, it gives players who finally unlocked expurgation a sense of accomplishment and makes it less likely for them to rage quit, due to how hard they worked to play.
Plot Twist: Expurgation is the first song of week 2 (and therefor also the easiest)

@@crackalackin3877 that’s how I play to, but I use ASKL (if I can, otherwise I used DFJK or AS^>) because it matches up with the icons much better because it is actually going longways, this is also why I could learn vs shaggy cause the note color/shape corresponds with the key on the keyboard

So this mod patches the Kade Engine’s spam flaw via damage notes, and in the case of Expurgation, auto death notes.
Combine that with the other ways Tricky cheats in Expurgation, and Im willing to call this the only truly hard mod out there, as unlike others, you CANNOT exploit spam-to-win here
you can still spam easily, just be selective and take hits in health in areas where theres insta notes. just look at bijuu mike, that dude wasnt even trying to hit notes properly and he was doing decent

Things for a phase 5:
Add notes in the wrong lane, like a right note in the down lane. To counter it, you need to press right when it goes up. Imagine that, but with a bunch more arrows.
What if Tricky froze the screen? Like, it’s playing the music, the screen pauses and you have to remember the notes from Tricky’s side?

I don't think enough people notice this, but the death scene has a sign with bones in it because:
1. The sign is a part of tricky's body.
2. He's cutting off your head when you die. Pause and use the < > keys to look at the frames carefully.
