Fun Fact: Juumonji Kasumi Kuzushi is a reference to the series Ninpuu Kamui Gaiden, it's a move used by the main character Kamui...who also invented the Izuna Drop...as it's the earliest known showing of that move in media. The leaping nature of the attack is based on the pre-title card animation where Kamui does this attack after leaping into the air. This fits with this game as the character using it is canonically a ninja otaku who's moves are all references to various anime and manga about ninja that he's read over the years.
That moment you realize that this game is arguably a precursor to Persona 4 Arena. Heck the last boss is even a devil summoner who uses Beelzebub and Succubus from megaten.
