being a Saturn owner in America was truly painful if you knew all the amazing games that stayed in Japan and never came to the USA
Sega Saturn. the great Saturn. I always wanted to have these console
Idk where you find yourself now, but I never thought I would own one and I ended up buying one in January and let me tell you! It is worth every penny! Just get the Action replay or the "all in one cart" and once you learn how to make "game back ups" it will change your life! I am more than pleased with my Sega Saturn. Get an american one while you still can because they are going up in price! But there are several Japanese models out there that are a little less.
Good God, that metal baby head in the second stage is the stuff of nightmares.

Wow! This is such a cool fighting game. I can't believe I've never heard of it before. I was a big Sega Saturn guy way back in the day.
Solis reminds me of a more clothing averse G2 from that straight to video Inspector Gadget sequel.

The amount of skin shown can leave more targets to be attacked, but the amount of skin shown can also bewilder and confuse the opponent on why this lady is showing a good amount of her cleavage and all of her ass. It's a legitimate mindgame for the opponent, but the tradeoff is that there are more areas exposed for attack.
weird how there's groove on type of music in the intro and staff roll but not in the gameplay. either way, props to atlus for breaking ground in that direction way back then.

youre taking the title too literally lol. the 90s was nothing but metal and house music so the soundtrack is fine in that respect as it fits with what was popular at the time

Implying they already knew how to implement the opposite of dry ass music, but a little off in the placement. Did it say 'groove on intro?' Did it say 'groove on staff roll?' Or did it say 'Groove on Fight'? heck you mean "what the fuck?!" you slow as hell is what it is. go back to square one and step ur comprehension skills up.
You're talking to someone who's already seen that combination in both video games and movies not even advertised as so, even attacking on beat with really good music. You on the other hand, I don't know if that's even ur cup of tea and I been wasting my time with someone content with a lame's music. Anyways, I got other videos to watch. I love the Saturn. I have an American console and the gray Japanese console right beside it. I need to get a copy of this game... so many 2D fighters on Japanese Saturn worth picking up. Groove On Fight is a little pricey though, but not surprising considering it’s an Atlus release.

Kind of like that as a co-op fighter like that, your partner is actually in the background, waiting for a tag to get in on the action. Also, is Solis an android? Either that or I wonder where she hides her gadgets.
This game deserves a remake of some sort.

Why do I remember a 3D fighter also named Groove on Fight? Maybe I’m confusing this with something else.

I was also under the impression that “Groove on Fight” was a 3D fighter. In the old days in the back of game magazines mail order import sellers would advertise GOF along with other titles. The visual was a postage sized image from an unknown 3D fighter adjacent to The name Groove on Fight. These were the days before internet was everywhere and little to no Saturn coverage. I can see how that impression could be in the world....
I suppose it's possible that the game's title could've been misplaced to a different game's image in a 90's magazine. Like you said, internet was way smaller so less sources to verify by, more falls through the cracks.
