Does this work for intraday?
No it doesn't, but there are other strats you may use. Also remember we provide only a learning platform, the money management is what separates good traders from the rest :)
Sorry to point out but what you are saying sounds opposite. Price moves up... the RSI moves up. The Price moves down, the RSI moves down... IN FACT, the RSI is the LEAD INDICATOR. The price action usually follows the moves in RSI and that is why it is one of the most useful tool in spotting bullish or bearish divergences. To be theoretically correct, it is the RSI that should diverge from the price and not otherwise.I am saying this as I am a Market Technician myself (CMT, MSTA)
Totally respect your point of view. We are not saying that RSI moved because of price,what we are simply comparing the movement of rsi and price. In normal scenario it would have the same movement, but that doesn't happen when there is a divergence between them.
