This is my kind of mission: a little stealth, then a massive action filled finale. Also the music is awesome and you get to control the done. Fantastic gameplay! I played this mission over and over, but I don't think I ever beat it without at least one death on Veteran. Well done! :)
It's a tricky mission because on veteran you don't get to be slow and steady with the added timer. Really forces you to be aggressive which is normally punished due to how fast you can die on this mode.
"Nuclear missile in the air!" "Good" Not exactly the response I was expecting, but the question now remains, where is it going? I have my suspicions.
And where do you suspect it's going?
@@StarMarshal Well, the obvious answer is straight on top of Makarov's noggin' but I suspect that it's not going to be so clear and obvious. More likely is something I've not thought of.
There'll be a lotta sacrifices in the air and in space, boyo. With that in mind, it's a huge boon for American reserve forces moving to defend the Eastern Seaboard from the far west.
Its funny how many times I died playing this mission, because of the timer and trying to rush it on Veteran until you figure out its about making calculated moves using the Predator Drone and being tact with your movements.
Another big tip is to try and nail the BTR and the Helicopter in the first strike. Really helps avoid having to dodge and eventually deal with them one by one.
@@StarMarshalSeems you called it.
I enjoyed that you didn't just shoot everytone and actuall snuck past some in the stealth sectin. just..its not something most of us do, we all jsu go bang bang bang ok lets go" its good to see the other option explored :D
The boyz are back in town lol!!!
I should be grateful there's no Homelander here.
1:11 - 1:23 I’ve had a feeling that Price was sensing Shephard’s betrayal…
Like and good video.👍👍
And so begins Act III.
0:33: In return, the Russians in this universe become hotheaded scapegoats for certain Western individuals to properly fight back and later pay reparations against. Not even Ozymandias was this brilliant in the Watchmen comics.
0:54: Raises eyebrows, doesn't it?
...Anyone think Shepherd, voiced by Lance Henriksen, sounded way too tired here?
Notice how Capt. MacTavish is now designated Soap.
2:09: J.R.R. Tolkien, a dog lover: "How dare you?"
H.P. Lovecraft, a cat lover: "That so?"
3:35: An America's Army reference. Also, an incorrectly done Russian flag, but I'm not sure if that's intentional.
Here's a strange design quirk of the series: the enemy's flashlights aren't from their gun attachments, they're from the persons.
6:29: Surprised to not see them taken out.
You can be able to destroy the missile launcher before the Predator is downed, but only if you're fast enough. Still, what a waste of expensive unmanned tech.
9:50: Don't think you killed anyone. Soap actually says that response even when attacking your own allies.
12:56: Umm...
15:50. Sweet summer children, it's for the Greater Good. *Deal with it...* Foley and Ramirez will thank Price later. (This won't be the last time a hijacked submarine and its missile loadout turned the tide on the war against Makarov.)
From the wiki: "As the mission is occurring at the same time as the missions in Washington D.C. the date is pretty much impossible as the time zone difference would make this mission be a day after."
I did want to kill the SAMs myself, but it did cut off dialogue so decided against it.
