Jay. How do you record audio with your videos? Is there a way to record audio with the potensic d80?
Brother Jay Do you know anything about there being a beginners mode on the app for this drone That will only let it go 125 m up unless it’s deactivated. One of the reps told me that but I cannot find it anywhere and I can only get my bird to go up to 125 m and it just plain stops at that altitude???
Jay Drone Jay, I just subscribed to your channel and I’ve got a question that you might be able to answer? I’ve got a Potensic D80 droneAnd I want to know if there’s any possible way to override the 150 m hight limit?either buy some type of tool like they have for the Hubsan H501 or something like that? I hate the fact that you can’t take it over 150 m up like on my bugs 2 Over 500 m up. If you need any forms or reading I can do on it it would be great because I love the drone but I hate the height limit

Jay...loved your 'out of the box' demo and your 'first flight ' review of the D-80. For all us newbees... I think a more detailed review (demo) of the connection process between the drone and the Iphone App would be a big help. I had a devil of a time making that connection through the App. There are a several steps necessary to make that paring connection that you didn't explain. Thanks again for your help. I watched your review video several times and learned a great deal.
Nice review. Looks like a great clone of the bugs as you were saying. It will be interesting to see if they have improved the range on it from the bugs. I always push them to see if i can get at least 1000 meters. Happy Flying
This was my great Christmas present, I was so amaze I had this great toy I went try it out. Upong pressing go home function it just went directly, really fast, against the wall of my house, probably it remembered because I first turned it on there. The poor drone fell down after several hits and I still feel terrible... It just have some scratches on it and I hope it didn't damage the circuits or anything, it went well afterwards anyway, such a strong body it has. Today I will go to the mountains to test it and learn more despite the fear I feel of damaging it. If only I saw the way to cancel the go home function before! Thanks a lot for these videos!

@@JayDrone I actually kind of configured it at home and went out to test it, don't know why it went against the wall upon using return home function, I thought it went home like for real or something, remembering the position, but don't know what I did wrong actually. I hope no internal damage was done, apparently just scratches. Thanks for answering!
Ha ha ha lol. That happened to me last week. I was so freaked out. I could hear it I lost it coming down with the trees in background. Acting like camouflage. Rth is a life saver

Got it this Christmas and had to send it back to my uncle to figure out how to get it to fly 😆 but this vid I liked the footage at least I know the quality of the camera
I have taken mine to a height of 147 metres. Video on phone up to 300 plus metres. Flown a distance of more than 1000 metres.

Hi, I bought this drone in 2022 and I'm very happy with it ... I haven't flipped it many times, I'm looking for a video on youtube to better understand how it works. If you had a higher brightness on the phone it was a perfect video.

Hey one more question my drone does not go forward from the direction it’s pointing! You seem to be able to control it from the app but with mine if you looking at the app and your facing a certain direction when I push the joystick to move forward it does not go forward from the way it’s facing, it goes forward from the point it took off. EXAMPLE: if my drone was facing me like I wanted to take a picture of me if I looked at the controller and went forward on the camera it would go backward because it’s forward from the point it took off. Do you know how I can control it completely just with looking at the app?

On your Return Home it wasn't losing alt at all... your reading was incorrect as it clearly shows in the video it was not descending. Could you confirm this?

Charge time is way too long. I suppose you can upgrade.
I had a great time flying. So far, I’m learning the ropes. I’m not ballsy enough to fly out of my site. Or too high. We have a lot of trees in my area.

What’s the difference between using the memory chip in the drone and the phone app? Did you have to format the chip?
One thing I’m trying to understand is flying by watching video monitor on my iPhone vs watching the craft. I’m an experienced RC pilot and in craft point of view is hard to get used to.

Battery’s and charging. I am waiting for 2 more battery’s.
Do you have a faster way to charge ? I read this battery takes up to 5 hours to charge. That is ridiculous.
This is my first drone. But I flew RC. I’m having trouble finding anybody who can be my coach or mentor so I really appreciate your advice.
What Drone app did you use? I can’t get WiFi to connect after many attempts... I see the drone in WiFi but failed attempt..
Be careful going over 120 meters, and showing your telemetry at the same time ;-)

Love this drone but I'm trying to get video recorded to my TF Card, anyone know the trick? No new files are showing up on my card after flight, just to the phone. Manual is a little lacking.

Neo_182 that prolly will work, I know it does with the Hubsan drone with the advance controller. The H502c will bind and follow the controller.

One hear. Started channel..I think new start with cheaper Better to make mistakes with cheaper drone. Bugs 3 cheap now. Great drone too. Mtx is best line of drones..batteries compatible with most in line.

I've been trying to sync them for hours. I've seen the whole "hold the unlock button and turn the controller on" tip like at least 4 times and no matter how many times i do it, my drone and controller still wont sync. I havent even been able to test it out and I got it this morning.
Make sure ur battery fully charged
I did for 5 hours. I'm confused bc I've never had this much trouble with one before.
Take a volt meter and assure it is charged

Thank you, I got it figured out. I used the bar code in my manual. X -drone, works great. I am now trying to record my phone screen and access it with my PC. DU recorder is not very friendly. what do you suggest?
