A lot of companies will try to slave drive you if they can for very little money! More money, home time, and making it fun is trucking! Home with family is important! We all have to work! Therefore you can use a grant instead of them schools who will try to lock you into a contract to work for an inflate company which will have you driving for peanuts! So try there and then get back with me…I can send you my contact information if needed.

It’s definitely out of my comfort zone. But sometimes in life we need it . God blessed me with the best men that helped me get my Cdl permit ! My school is paid of by an organization. And I’m on the process getting my cdl! Want God do it ?!! I’m happy 😃 you decided to make a channel. After I found your channel, I fell inlove . I’m 5’2 and I’m 23 , knowing that we’re almost around the same age and height , gives me the confidence that if you can do it, I can do it too !

My great grandmother born in 1912, drove trucks and worked at a diner part time to put my grandmother thru college. My grandmother met my grandfather at Hampton university. The rest is history. Keep trucking lil sis.

Speaking as a male truck driver for 20 plus years, most guys are not use to seeing a beautiful young lady behind the wheel of a semi. And unfortunately u do have creeps that will stare you down. You are doing the right thing by ignoring them and focus on yourself. Keep doing you and much success
My wife and I run a 2 truck company. We haul cattle, we are both late 20s. We mainly stay around the western states so it’s not uncommon seeing a woman driving a pickup or a big rig. She drives the long hood 379 with 18 speed and shifts like slicing butter. Soon we’re adding another truck and an RGN to pull farm equipment that her mother will drive. She’s been hauling heavy equipment for the last 25 years.

I'm 55 and out here. Got my CDL with all endorsements at the age 53 when I became a widow and retired from the federal government.
It sucks, I thought about being a pilot , not that i was ever close but yah having migraines could be a problem for somebody in these professions.
As a young 20 something myself, you have truly inspired me💜 My husband and I have been trying to find a way for us to make money, travel, and explore all avenues of the world. However, with a toddler, we are very limited with what all we can do while still enjoying our family time. I have always been interested in trucking, but have never heard of any female truckers (much less female truckers that are also young). After somehow stumbling upon your videos, I am now inspired to pursue trucking and save up money so that I can explore the world with my family 💜
Make sure you obtain all your endorsements right after trucking school..better to have them, then not have them..it opens up more opportunities for you..I found it best to get it ASAP because once you’re working, you’re not going to have the time or energy to study. It’s best to do it while it’s fresh on your mind. They’re easy, I passed all three in one day. Good luck 🙂

Some team units with some companies make $70ths each/per driver. Married or not even friends. Look into it $140ths a year from where you where? Good money for teams just make sure you get your rest to drive effectively. 8 to 10hrs daily keeps you alive and safe...nothing less and more will make you late. Costing you $$$ for it missing apt times and rescheduling. Roll on, Bandit7. Out CB ch 7&22
You should keep a personal log of your own directions, so the next time you have to go there, you know exactly what to do and where to go..

So excited to get back to it and start teaming with him while we are young and no kids. We found you a couple days ago and we’ve been watching every video. We live in the Midwest too right up the street from where you did your initial training

Im no longer looking into being a truck driver but your videos would pop up when i was thinking about doing it and trying to get some info through CZcams and I’m here watching your videos cause they’re entertaining and very comforting on how you speak on trucking driving and make it seem really easy even though it can get tough sometimes.
I gave up on that cause i was just chasing the money and didn’t ask myself is it something i really want to do and take on a huge responsibility? Absolutely not.
Also might sound like a dumb reason to most people but the way i grew up i got tired of being around toxic/aggressive people so that’s one huge reason why i no longer wanted to go into this field cause of aggressive people. One thing i read/heard a lot about truck driving from people with years of experience is “you have to have thick skin” that’s life in general but i feel it applies specifically to truck driving as if everyone is going to be rude/aggressive so that makes everyone come in that way and keep that mind set.
Of course trucking being done more by men, explains why that is. I know there are alot of great respectful truckers but the not so nice ones overshadow all the good ones.
I drive a class C truck for a pretty good company so I’m okay with that for now but i don’t even want to stay there either due to how dangerous it is. No company is perfect, some dangerous work practices. (Overloading or no properly loading).
I see truckers almost everywhere i deliver to and i actually started seeing more women truckers starting last year (2021) which i think is really awesome So seeing you and the kind and a very ambitious person you are makes me want to give it a shot again but doubt it. Maybe when there are way more women in the future maybe I’ll considered trying it out. No job is going to be perfect but what i really want in life now is to be happy and be stable and work a job with a more friendly environment.
So for the rant but yeah, i love your videos, keep up the great work and being the great person you are, i wish to be able to surround myself with people as inspiring as you.
I agree with Onestickz comments, always trust your gut out there. We were given that sixth sense for a reason and it’s dangerous to ignore it! Be safe out there!

When I drove for CRST I was out during Christmas and I have to say it got to me for a minute , but then the next day felt better but I was driving through Pennsylvania turnpike to Nj and back to Indiana in the snow . Scariest time of my life by my self but I did it without harm. Believe God and his love will guide you all the way .

Hello Niesha...I'm a trucker myself. On the 7e of February I will be starting with my trailer lessons. I don't have my basic license that long, I was somewhat of an office mouse working as a social worker in the Netherlands. I've been trucking for a year now, and enjoying the hek out of it. Like I said, I will be starting with my trailer lessons next month. It's a one week training program, and the next week I got the exam. I always love it when I see a black woman driving a truck, I wish more of us would pursue a career in trucking. You look like a young woman, and also enjoying the hek out of your job as a commercial driver. I wish you a lot of good luck and succes doing this type of work, and I feel proud seeing a black woman do this job.
