chael dead ass lied to him about loosing fights just to make him feel good, what a great guy
never lost a round...
@@JoeHeine undefeated and undisputed
the greatest of all time
@@OGAPlays and before time was even created
@@JoeHeine or a second of any round. People really be acting like chael aint the goat.
“I lost X amount of fights”
We all know X=0 when it comes to Chael because he’s never lost a round let alone a fight.
He just said it so Uriah could feel better. Even though we all know Chael is and has always been undefeated.
Not funny anymore
Undefeated, undisputed. Man of the hour too sweet to be sour.
X = i because he only lost in the imaginations of his haters
I’m surprised they even fit him all on cam being that he has the biggest arms in all of West Linn, Oregon.
"failure is the most readily available option" damn chael spitting thruth
Damn. That was deep. Never seen this side of Chael before.
But it’s a choice lol
After this I have so much respect for cheal, he really is a great coach and motivater
Chael*

@@typicaltempo446 😂
8 years had passed but homie never felt the need to correct CHAEL’s name 😅
100% one of the very best ever on the show
Holy shit dude that was insightful af
I love that line “failure is the most readily available option”
Biggest arms in West Lynn, Oregon.
Your damn right
With all the charm!
Undefeated and undisputed
Without a doubt
Doing the most harm
Man, Chael's words at the end really gives me the chills. That guy is so motivational.
So many people can say words that add up to what Chael said, but when it comes from a guy who never lost a round, it hits different.
I always viewed Sonnen more of a philosopher who also happens to be a great fighter..... dude is mad intelligent and insightful
And it sucks to see that so few realise this. I keep saying always... he's the most wise man i've ever heard or seen. And i've seen great peoples from the likes of Feynman to several legendary Judges to some of the most inspirational athletes to JFKs, MLKs, MKGs, etc. IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Uncle Chael dropping gems
This is the most baller thing he's ever said
I think it's no coincidence that one of the strongest periods of Urijah Hall's career corresponds when Chael Sonnen was coaching him.
Yeah that’s a solid point. Mental game is a huge aspect. It would be cool if he still coached him.
I'd agree 100%. Hall had always been a wild card. I'm still a supporter thought. He never goes into the octagon believing his opponent wants to punch his head off.
Uncle Chael coming back from those 7th minute losses is the reason why he truly is the undisputed and undefeated champion
anyone else would have fallen to depression after experiencing those kind of losses...Chael is built different
In all seriousness though, Chael might be one of the most successful and best coaches there ever was on TUF.
I mean, the two final contestants was both his students and they became top tier middleweights. Talking about Uriah Hall and Kelvin Gastelum.
Had 3 guys in tuf brazil 3 finals too
Yeah he did all of that with those guys being around them a couple hours a day for 5 weeks
Serious question how can chael understand Uriah when he’s undefeated and undisputed?
Because he isn't? He lost against Anderson silva
@@AlexVega1998 wow you really know your stuff, have you ever thought about taking over from Steven A?
@@kevintaylor8726 Wow you must simply not know your stuff sense your compelled to respond in such a sarcastic manner with a response so irrational to ask "have you ever thought of taking over for Steven A."
Obviously it doesn't take a genius to simply Google search someone's wins and Ls streaks.
Maybe you should try it more often instead of sarcastic remarks, just a thought.
@@AlexVega1998 That's the kind of analytical analysis thats lacking over on espn, once again I suggest you apply
@@AlexVega1998 undefeated and undisputed, you simply cannot argue with that
chael is a champ in my eyes!
Chael is easily in the GOAT tuf coach conversation.
Legend and one hell of a man.
I'll second that. He has inspiration embedded in every chromosome of his DNA
This clip needs to trend again. Chael is on another level.
the full uriah hall quote at the beginning is one of my favorite quotes
Look at uncle Chael man. So inspiring. Legitimately, man was spitting some real real words. Cool to see him show this side on camera. Really doesn’t come out to much
If Chael Sonnen dropped dead today he would forever be remembered as an absolute legend.
He’s like the norm McDonald of ufc
Sonnen has gone from one of my least favourite guys in mma to my favourite. This season has been great not just for the discovery of Uriah, but also finding out what a good guy Chael Sonnen is.
Also this could be a chat about impotence. "It's okay, it's normal, it affects everyone. It even affects Randy Couture."
Jon Jones relates
Goddamn!!!
Chael sonnen show him a true self i thought he was just a shit talker until i found out how smart and great of speaker he is
I’m my own worst enemy. Been fighting this for years. Chael and Mr. Hall helped me with this .
True leadership is something that should be praised.
He should tell him a motivational story about Jackylls
This is one of those clips I need to rewatch from time to time
Wow that was so cool of Uncle Chael. Also, I believe the cameras used for this shot were really big!
This is the moment Chael became the goat.
Nothing but respect for Chael he is so wise
Undefeated and undisputed at pep talks
Never lost a round, Uncle Chael
When chael said he lost, he was speaking metaphorically to make Uriah feel better
We all know Chael lost on purpose in the past so he can motivate this guy without embarassing him. What a legend.
Chael sonnen is the man, what a response to another man in need of advice. Humanity take note. This is the cure, it's called "selflessness"
Compete with it. Wow. That really spoke to me.
The way Chael respected Uriah and spoke to him on the same level and completely effective... had me choking a bit.. Uriahs surprised response at the end... "Dayum". He wanted to cry. Definately always thought Chael is a good man.
The advice you gave to that young man/fighter re self doubt n second guessing was amazing.
Uriah is a real-life version of an anime character who never again unleashes their full power because they know how terrifyingly destructive they can be.
cringe
Either Izzy or one of his fanboys wrote this crap
@@real2606 lol but is it not true that Uriah Hall holds back ever since that one KO he gave that dude
@@chazmiranda it’s true he knocked out Adam and the look in his eyes he was never the same
He was never the same when he koed that guy u could see it in his eyes
Damn Hall just retired tonight too. I like most people truly believe that KO he had in the Ultimate Fighter changed him inside,he is a great fighter, but him like most people never want to hurt a man so bad we change the course of their lives,or make it impossible for them to be productive members of society, who can’t earn a living because of something that happened in a fight.
Or worst case scenario end someone’s life in a sporting event.
I think compassion held back his true killer instinct, because he knew this wasn’t true life and death,I’m not saying that can’t happen, but in the spirit of competition if you know what I mean.
His courage to enter the octagon and not go all out is even crazier to think about, his skill level was insane, that’s the way I like to think about him as a fighter anyway, his compassion overcame his killer instinct, but he was one hell of a fighter, who I always rooted for.
I think there’s a part left out from this moment that was inspiring. Chael said something along the lines of You can’t really on anything not your coach, your team not even God you look down at your own two hands and realize that’s what’s gonna take you out of a shit situation not anything else.
I may have embellished it from memory but, still helpful.
One of the realist conversations I've ever seen.
Wow. What great coaching that is. Wouldn't expect less from the Chael Man.
Chael would a great coach for anyone. Guy has never lost. Need I say more?
great advice. if you don't have the doubt as a pro fighter, you ain't doing it right. the test is whether you rise to the occasion and ride that wave, or do you bail out and swim back to shore? if you're really ready for the game, you ride the wave, it's as simple as that. the doubt then becomes your fuel for improvement, which is why it's there in the first place. there are no invincible men, only differing matchups.
Nobody is interested in listening to your fake and made up advice.
@@Dare-Knight keep being a nobody, i don't care. just don't make eye contact with me in the gym, lol. keep your gaze down where it belongs, underacheiver.
Uncle Chael BEEN dropping bars..
That { ok } from hall at the end , pulled on my heart strings for a moment.
Chael is the GOAT
Uncle chael is the GOAT!
this clip is absolutely beautiful
Uncle Chael always dropping gems
That's one benefit of training. Focusing on your form and game plan during the stress of it all gives you something else to think about other than, "Oh S&^%, what did I get myself into!?"
Chael making up stories about losses to make Uriah feel better :O
The difference between Chael the character and Chael the coach right here.
That was so wholesome
Chael always been one my favorites.
Funny af pretty tough
AND THE GREATES POUND FOR POUND UNDEFEATED CHAMPION
Still undefeated and undisputed
Love this guy
Uncle Chael! Undefeated, Undisputed.
Two quality dudes right there
“Failure is always a option” the easiest choice there is
This is great. No need to elaborate.
Wow Chael wisdom
Chael just finds new ways to be the GOAT. Undefeated fighter in the cage. Undisputed trash talker. Mayor of West Linn. King of motivators.
Even was willing to fib to a student about losing when he hasn't lost a nanosecond in his life just to get on his level. True GOAT status.
Chael here summarizing all of our secret narratives when someone shows interest in us "I can't let you get close to me!"
That was some sage advice.
Love that !
That was really nice of chael to lie and say he’s lost fights to make hall feel better
Chael is like a father
Everything by him is biblical... We don't say legend, we say *CHAEL SONNEN*
Baffles me people don’t think Chael is the GOAT. Undefeated and Undisputed. Never lost a round.
Tremendous.
Forget MMA, that's fucking life advice right there.
No motivational bullshit, just honesty. Gotta love uncle chael
Chael is a great fighter, comedian and mentor! What's next?
When trash talking is used for a positive purpose
Mr Sir Prof. Dr. Lord Master Chael P Sonnen (P stands for undefeated undisputed American gangster)
Truth!
Chael is a really great coach.
I came here for the memes but left shocked by actual advice I needed to here 😂
Uncle Chael knows Best
Man I’d revel at the opportunity to be coached by channel. With his help perhaps I too could be undefeated
The Legendary coach Channel. Defeated. Disputed. Never won a round.
Damn thats pretty profound
Ufc 4 diddnt do justice to the qoute . Chael said "failure in the most READILY available option " UFC 4 left that word out
Chael is one of the great motivators in all of sports, I put him up there with Jim Harbaugh of the 49ers.
LoL this didn't age well ❤️🩹🤣
I feel bad for Uriah now that he has retired. He really just didn't want to hurt people
This is hardcore
This could apply to anything, anyone. Not me though, I'm perfect.
Why does chael has to be so Humble????
Every UFC fighter should be working with a sport psychologist
And then, Uriah kept Chael's words to his head and some years later, he defeats Anderson Silva
Chael "Theatrics" Sonnen
West Linn biceps
Where does Kevin Lee fit into this?
Chael sonnen is a really a Martian Muslim Monk Buddhist from the Caucaus Mountains that was forced to fight to bring TRUE KNOWLEDGE WISDOM & RESPECT to the SAVAGE sport of MMA.
The best 2:41 in TUF history.
what a chad man
?
I thought Chael was undefeated and undisputed?
